Easter celebrations

I made this card for my Mother-in-law

for Easter.

I went with pool party card which I embossed

with a rose embossing folder.

The centre papers are from a retired set which

I matted onto some white card and used some

fancy edge scissors to trim it.

I hand cut the cross from some matching paper

and then layered it onto white card.

I wrapped a piece of white ribbon around the cross

then stamped a flower from Painted Seasons stamp set,

in pool party ink and layered it up.

I finished with a stamped sentiment from

Fable Friends stamp set and a pearl.

Pop of petals and country floral birthday card!

I got the lovely Country Floral embossing folder during Sale-A-Bration
and I am very happy to say it is carrying over to the new catalogue in June!

I also pulled out the Pop of Petals Stamp set but just used the little flower stamps
to create this card.
See below for instructions on how I made it and all the items I used.
This card will be for one of my lovely daughter-in-laws for their birthday.

How to make this card
1. Make your base using half an a4 card folded in two. (a6 card)
2. Using the largest rectangle die cut out in whisper white.
3. Cut a second rectangle in powder pink using next size down.
4. Ink up your embossing folder (top side) using powder pink ink pad
and run the pink rectangle through the die cut machine.
5. Cut the smallest rectangle in that stack using whisper white
and stamp your sentiment in powder pink ink.
6. Cut 4" of whisper white flax ribbon and tail both ends.
7. Adhere all pieces to your card as above.
8. Stamp lots of flowers using powder pink onto whisper white card
and leaves in soft sea foam and fussy cut.
Add some wink of stella to the skeleton leaves.
9. Arrange and adhere flowers on dimensionals,
and leaves with wet glue, around your sentiment.
Add as little or as much as you like. I think I got a bit carried away
with mine lol. But it was great fun.

Check out my project list below for all the items I used.

Hello pretty kitty!

4 CC Golden Egg Award

I have been dying to make a shaker card for ages so finally did it!
Is this not the cutest little kitty ever and she works perfectly in my shaker card.
I love the background which I have embossed using my lovely new embossing folder

PINEWOOD PLANKS

So I started by embossing the base card.
I then stamped my kitty to fit inside the largest square die.
I coloured her up with promarkers and stampin' write pens then stamped my greeting.
I added 3 gems to each side of sentiment.
I then made a frame by cutting the largest square and the second size next to this.
I cut a window sheet to fit behind the pink square and glued in place.
I added a layer of foam adhesive strips around the inside edge of the frame.
I used the large die to draw round my image and cut it out.
I sprinkled some confetti sequin on top of image, keeping them in the centre.
Removing backing paper from strips I then placed carefully over my image.
And there you have your shaker image which can now be stuck to the card base.
I finished my card with 4 pearls and a ribbon.
