Meant to Be!

I have made a card today using the stamp set that
is up for grabs over at my Create with Pinky group on facebook
The stamp set is called Meant to Be and is full of different hearts
and lots of sentiments. So I wanted to show a different way of using it.
I have teamed it up with the gorgeous Brights dsp using
coastal cabana card, papers and ink pad.
The sketch I followed is from another group over on
facebook.

Come and join in the challenge

Spring has sprung in our house with a little bit of
wallpapering going on. How messy does the house look
when you are decorating?? Drives me nuts lol.

King of hearts

Time for another tag for Sandie's challenge at
where she wants to see Kings or Queens or both.

I have gone with another image from my free Alice in Wonderland
pack. The king has been printed off, then coloured
and the same frame printed again and laid over the top.
I stamped some hearts around the frame using
Meant to Be stamp set and the quote has
been added via the computer.

Meant to Be Forty Shades of Green!

Happy Monday!
I have been making St. Patrick's Day cards
for my family who all live
in England and Wales.
So I like to remind them where they came from 😁

This one is for my oldest Brother.
It's called a Corner Fold card and a first for me!

I have used
to create the shamrocks as I do not have a shamrock stamp!
The papers are from the

and has been punched out using

So the noise is back in our area yet again.
From lockdown we have had Virgin Media
digging up the pathways then
we had the water board digging up the roads.
They then had to come back because they made a
mistake and now we have the gas people
digging up the roads again!
Seriously, I understand they have a job to do
but why does it have to start at 6am
and even go through the weekends as well!
The roads are in a total mess,
like a patchwork quilt and the noise!!😡😱

St. Patrick's Day Chocolate Coins Gift Bag

My tutorial today shows how I made
these cute little packages to hold
some chocolate coins for my Grandsons
for St. Patrick's Day.
It definitely won't be a 'get together' day again,
unless they allow us to meet outside!!
So I wanted to start making some little sweet gifts
for them which can be easily delivered to the doorstep.

You can watch my video here

Nothing much happening here other than crafting
at the minute. Got a new lampshade for my hall,
still have another few bits to finish but not sure
what to get and don't want to be dithering around
the shops!!
Stay safe out there, this is not over!

You melt my heart

This is another Valentine's Day card
for my two Grandsons next door.

It's only a little card - 4" x 3 1/2"
Had to be careful with my colours
as the eldest boy would not be entertaining
red and too many hearts 😂

I thought the sentiment from the
stamp set was just perfect for Valentine's Day.
I stamped the lolly out using

Snow hasn't hit us yet but is supposed to
be here by tomorrow.
It is icy cold out there and the winds
are building up!
Think we will stay put and maybe
go out to the garage for some exercise
in hubby's homemade gym 😁
Have a great day!

My husband and daughter will get one each 💓

I was up early enough today to catch
the most beautiful sunrise.
The skies were lit up with reds and oranges!
I know they say red sky in the morning, shepherds warning lol
but it was certainly worth it!

Welcome to my newest follower Michelle.

Meant to Be at Tag Tuesday

The theme at
this fortnight was chosen by Wendy
and she wants us to use a photograph on our tag.

My daughter is constantly snapping photos of
our wee dog Squirt so I thought I would make
one for her to hang by her computer.

Think this is the first time ever I have made
a tag with a photo! I was going to go with a vintage image
but glad I decided to use Squirt.
He is getting old, and will be 13 in February.
But he is the best wee dog ever and absolutely no bother.

To decorate the tag I have used
pacific point card and ink along with hearts and sentiment
from the stamp set Meant to Be.
The sentiment has been punched using
the 1" and 1 1/8" scallop punches.

We have a little bit of rain today
which I am hoping will clear this frozen snow
so I can get out for a descent walk
without having to yank the arm from my poor husband!

Birthday book card

I thought I would share one of the
commissions I made last week.

This one is a book shape with lots of layers.
The die is a tattered lace one and
I used my lovely new paper blooms papers to decorate
along with a few stamp sets:
The main colour used was Rococo Rose
in the ink and ribbon.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Silhouette Scenes Engagement/Anniversary Card

Happy Monday!

Our challenge last week was to make a monochromatic project.

I hadn't inked up this particular stamp yet from the
so thought it would work perfectly along with a scrap
from the Plaid Tidings papers.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set and
I got the heart stamp from Meant to Be set.
Would make a nice Engagement or Anniversary card.

Hope you have a great week.
From Friday we are going into lockdown
for two weeks. The schools will remain open
and shops are open for essential items only.
Let's hope this works!!

In-colours striped card

I have seen a lot of starburst type cards around Pinterest
and thought I would do a video of two that I tried for my
VIP Group.
(You get an invite when you shop with me)

Today I am sharing the striped one and
I have used the retiring in-colours for my colourways.
I did some white embossing for the sentiment.
A great card for using up those precious scraps.

I'll be back tomorrow with the other version I made.
