For this one I have used the Penguin Playmates papers

and just fussy cut each little animal.

The sentiment has been stamped in misty moonlight

using Dashing Deer stamp set.

I finished with a few Tutti Designs snowflakes and gems.

Card sketch 15 today from Kendra's Card Challenge

for my Christmas cards.

I added some backing papers from the Penguin Playmates pack,

all matted onto misty moonlight card stock.

I cut the animals out from scraps from the same pack

and popped them behind the centre pieces.

The wording was cut using the

Word Wishes Dies. I drew round them with a silver pen

then added some wink of stella for sparkle.

I finished with some Tutti Designs snowflakes and gems.

My final card using sketch 16 from

Kendra's Card Challenge 3!

I think this was my least favourite sketch to use but

I got there in the end.

I have used Basic Borders for the icing on the cake and

embossed each paper piece using my swirls embossing folder.

The candles have been stamped using the retired

Broadway birthday set and the background is

bumblebee card. Not sure that was the right colour choice

but hey ho it's done now!

Christmas card 14!! Nearly there now!

I have cut the polar bear from the

Penguin Playmates papers and stamped

a little snowy background for him using Penguin Place stamps

and fresh freesia ink pad.

The background mats were made using Misty Moonlight card.

We had a great day at Carlingford yesterday with temperatures of 25 degrees!

We went for a short walk along the water edge and up round the castle

then sat down with a big 99!

Dull as ditch water today though!!

which is held using bakers twine and brads.

as I thought it screamed Birthday candles!

I teamed it up with fresh freesia card stock

and the candle flames were cut using bumblebee card.

YES another Halloween card this time using sketch 14 from

Kendra's Card Challenge 3.

Again the colours just shouted Halloween so

I dug out an old stamp set from Tim Holtz for the cat and embossing folder.

Everything else came from Banner Year stamp set.

I tied the two papers with pumpkin pie card

and the sentiment was stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink.

The embossed background was ink using Granny Apple Green ink.

We ventured out this morning to a large furniture shop.

Just about 200 yards from shop the road was closed so we

had a 15 minute detour to circle right around to get to the shop lol.

Sadly nothing purchased this time but interesting drive!

Another Christmas card using Sketch 12 from

Can't believe I am on my 12th Christmas card!!

For this one I have used an old embossing folder from

Desire. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)

and I have gone with misty moonlight card and ink.

The little banners are held in place using trim from

Simply Elegant trim set and I have added metallic pearls

to the die cut snowflakes using a Tutti designs die.

I just cut out the cute little foxes and

finished with a sentiment and baker's twine bow.

We had a lovely day out to Omeath yesterday

and I can tell you I really needed it!!

Weather was overcast but very warm, perfect walking temperatures.

I got my 10,000 steps no bother at all

and we even had a sandwich in Subway for the first time

in a year and a half 😂

Today I decided to go with a baby card!

have seen the pink baby card I made using this set.

I had to go all green for this baby card.

I had a lovely visit from my Sister-in-law Liz

who is over from England visiting her family.

My brother didn't come this time but we are working on him lol.

Is anyone else a bit nervous about going places still?

Our numbers are still pretty high here and I have to admit

to getting the belly flutters when I'm in a shop!

Slowly getting there though. I am generally not a nervous person

but after what we have all been through it's to be expected I suppose.

Babysitting is over for another couple of weeks.

Much as I love seeing the Grandkids the last two days

were fun but exhausting!!

Today it rained non stop so we couldn't get them outside

at all and after lunch they had a lot of surplus energy left.

Unfortunately we had very little 😂
