Halloween Treats and matching sweets!

My tutorial today is another Halloween project for the Grandkids.
These cute triangular boxes are really easy to make and
need no additional papers as I have stamped the design.
Even the sweets inside have been decorated to match.

Book Print at Tag Tuesday

It's the second week of our challenge theme of
USE BOOK PRINT
over at Tag Tuesday.

I have used my old dictionary again,
using the Star word page to tie in with my design.
I inked the tag and highlighted the word and some star spots
in yellow.
I stamped the little girl silhouette stamp and added a sentiment
and some punched and inked stars.

Forever Fern Sympathy card

I have a few commissioned Sympathy cards to make
and this is one of them.

I used a bundle called
Forever Fern
which is super gorgeous to work with.
I just love how each stamped image looks like it has been hand
drawn and coloured.
I embossed the background of this one using the Bricks & Mortar
embossing folder.
The centres consist of layered ovals.
Then I just stamped and die cut loads of leaves and buds,
arranged to the side of the ovals and finished with a
stamped and punched daisy.
I used deeper autumnal colours to suit the time of year.
The inside was stamped to follow through from the front.

Boy it is chilly today and damp!
We are still having to keep visitors out of our homes here
at the minute but did get a quick chat over the fence
and see baby Finbar yesterday :)
Have a great week!

Crazy block card with Snowman Season

Happy Sunday!
This is the larger version of my Block Card from Friday.
I have used Snowman Season to decorate him and Gorgeous Grape colours.
This card does not need the 12" x 12" card which is a bonus.

I found making the larger size and adding the sentiment blocks
to the back make my card want to collapse so on hindsight
don't over build the back end, maybe leave out the smaller
blocks underneath the sentiment.

BUT as I had already stuck mine down I had to come up
with a better solution, and here it is.

I added an extra cube to the back and front which stabilized it perfectly
and really adds to the design.

Measurements needed
Card - 8" x 6"
score every 2", turn and repeat
Card - 10" x 6"
score every 2", turn and repeat
To Decorate
Card - 1 7/8" x 1 7/8" for each block
DSP - 1 6/8" x 1 6/8" for each block
Sentiment
Card - 3 1/2" square
Whisper white card - 3 1/4" square

It's sunny today but freezing cold!
Have to stay quiet today so no housework lol,
as my daughter is working from home again and
has just finished a night shift.
So I am being very quiet in my craft room today!
