Howl at the moon!

Happy Friday!

I have been away for a few days in Wicklow

with hubby and it was so great to have

a little break as we haven't been away from

last September!

Weather was amazing, nearly too hot, dare I say lol.

My card today was made for my Son's 40th last week.

I used a stencil/mask set from Sheena Crafts

called Howling at the moon.

The stamp sets that go along with it are called

Be one with nature and Just Breathe.

I also used a few SU sets called

Sip Sip Hooray, Happiness Abounds

and Part of my story.

The papers are from Nitwits called Pocake Masculine.

I used various inks and markers to complete the card.

Inside I made an envelope to hold his birthday money.

turns 8. I spent an exhausting morning trying to get him a descent

tracksuit! Shops are coming down with those sweatshirt type

but I really wanted the polyester ones, must better wearing.

So disappointed with what I got but nothing else for it.

Back home complete pooped!!

Fairy Frog Prince

It's the second week of Michele's theme fairies/faeries

over at

TAG TUESDAY.

I went to get an entirely different stamp set but when I accidently

came across this little stamp I decided to use it.

I had the square already cut from a different project and thought it would make

an interesting shape for my tag.

I stamped and coloured the image with blends,

then stamped the happy birthday sentiment around the edges.

It just fitted perfectly!

I am doing a lot of memories albums at the minute.

My customers some how found out, by word of mouth,

and now I am getting orders for them.

It's not a road I wanted to go down but hard to say no.

I do enjoy making them, but they take a lot of time to fill with photos

and the price of ink now is a killer!! 

Anyway back to my tag lol.

The little stamp I used is from Papermania, called Frog Prince!

Birthday wishes funfold

I have another tent fold swing card.

This time a birthday card using favored flowers dsp,

again available as your free choice during Sale-a-bration!

I cut a few flowers and leaves from the paper

and layered they up onto white card and cut out.

For the back I stamped a couple of sentiments and added

a punched heart.

You can see the swing a bit easier in this photo.

Very easy to make and you can see my video here

Measurements needed:

Card Base - 4 1/4" x 11 1/2"

Score in half and fold to form tent fold.

DSP front - 4" x 5 5/8"

Stick to front and let it dry fully.

Card for inside top - 3" x 1"

Card for bottom folds - 4 1/4" x 2"

Score along 2" side at every 1/2"

You will need rectangle dies and circle dies.

Happy Birthday Blooms

I have another card made for one of my gift wallets.

Today I followed the lovely sketch at

Try Stampin' on Tuesday.

I added some dry embossing to either side of my panel

and the papers are the retired ones from December.

I finished off the inside too with a strip of matching

paper and sentiment.

This week I am making cards to fill my gift wallets.
