All creatures great and small!

Happy Sunday.
I have my midway post for our challenge theme
anything goes option animals/birds/creatures, over at

We have two great prizes up for grabs so be sure and join us.

For my card I went with a bunny (is it too early??)
I pulled out my Countryside Corners dies to make the card shape
which I ran through with an embossing folder for some texture.
I used Countryside Inn dsp for the first layer
then went with Easter Bunny stamp set for the image.
I was inspired by the sketch over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.
I added some clouds to the background and some
grass for him to sit on.

Trick or treat?

As we are now in October I thought I would make a start
on the Halloween stuff for the Grandkids.

First up is a very quick card.
The background has been stencilled using my leaf stencil
and black ink onto copper clay card.
I cut out the white piece using the countryside corners dies.
The sentiment and scary face came from
Tricks & Treats stamp set.

You can watch my quick reel here

I queued up for an hour yesterday to get my flu injection.
Luckily it wasn't raining on us!!
Ended up getting both flu and covid.
Today I feel like I have been run over by a truck!
Fingers crossed it clears off soon.
Have a great day (a wet one over here) whatever you are up to!

Welcome to my newest follower DAISYCHAIN!

Summer mood!

Today I am a guest designer over at
and the theme this week is a summer mood board,
so lots to choose from.

I went with the pink and green colours, flowers and a butterfly.
The stamp set I used is a retired one but a lovely set.
I used countryside corner dies for the layers
and Easter Bunny stamp set for the sentiment.
I finished with a bakers twine bow.

Mermaids!

Our new theme over at
has been chosen by the lovely Michele
and she wants to see MERMAIDS.

I do not have a mermaid stamp unfortunately so lifted
this skeleton mermaid from PNG Wing.
I inked up some card using blues, greens and pinks.
I fed the card through my printer so I could get the
mermaid where I wanted it.
Then I cut the tag shape, inked the edges and
stamped some spots in navy here and there.
I stamped the sentiment and chopped it up.
Inked it with some blue and navy on the edges
and stuck in place.
I stapled some velvet ribbon to finish.

Hope you get time to play along!
