Midway for Tag-along

Middle of June already!!
What's happening!!!!

I am here sharing some more makes for our June challenge
over at
where the theme, chosen by our lovely Lynn,
is DRINKS.
For my tag I used an old SU set called
Bubbleover which has stamps and dies.
So I stamped the bottles in two different colours,
die cut them along with two straws and decorated
them with stamps from the set.
For my tag base I stamped some bubbles
using the same colours and inked around the edges.
I finished it off with matching ribbons
in the two colours and some bakers twine.

For my ATC I inked up my base using yellow ink
then stamped the cocoa beans.
I then stamped and die cut my coffee cup,
cream top, thanks a latte oval and straw
and assembled my cup.
When stuck to my ATC I stamped a little heart in red
and inked the edges in brown.
The set I used is also an old SU one called
Coffee Cafe.

Art Journal Page 7

Happy Birthday to my lovely son Milo
and Happy Independence Day to all my lovely USA friends!!

My journal page sort of evolved as it went along.
I had an idea in my head to use bubbles in the sky but as I went along
it turned into a space theme nearly lol.
But then that's the fun of doing an art journal.

I started by punching circles in various sizes and inking them.
I used all the new In Colours and just sponged a few in each colour.
I used a bubble die for the small white circles which worked perfectly
as they came in various little sizes.
I stuck the circles in place then went around with the stencil,
drawing the little circles with a fine line pen.
I left an area with just some left over ink sponged on it
and proceeded to colour in all the areas with night of navy blend pen.
YES it took ages but it was so relaxing!!
I used lots of stamps from various stamp sets for the words.
I wanted the page to show how the darkness can be lightened
with precious memories, happy thoughts and positive feelings
and I'm more than happy with my page.
I hope you like it too.

Birthday bubbles!

I thought it was time to make a card suitable for a male.
I have been neglecting them lol.

For this card I went with a DL shaped card and got my
and
The dsp I used are called
Along with some Whisper White card stock
I don't have the call me clover ink pad which matches the paper
so had to substitute which I am not happy about.
After all I joined Stampin' Up! just so I could get everything coordinating.
So it's on my wish list for my September order!

I have since added a greeting and name to the card
on the top and bottom spaces.

Bubble over for Father's Day!

Top Three Badge

Happy Monday!
Today I had a play with the
It contains lovely stamps and die cuts, making this type of project
a breeze to make!
I cut the bottles out, watercoloured with my ink pads
They were decorated using stamped and die cut labels.
The little box is one of the clear gift boxes.
I stamped a band using the bottles and ink pads,
layered onto red card and wrapped around the box.
The top was decorated with a stamped bottle top
and matted onto a punch scallop circle.
Perfect for Father's Day gifts!

Bubble Over Tutorial

I have another great gift idea for Father's Day or a Male Birthday.
The card has a great fold allowing you to pop in a gift voucher.
The little holder was made to house the bottle shape bottle opener
which I bought in a local Pound shop!
I should have decorated it as well and might do before Father's Day arrives
for my Grandsons to give to their daddy.

I used the Bubble Over Bundle again for this set.

This set is available as a PDF tutorial and is available to buy on its own
or FREE with the purchase of the Bubble Over Bundle!
