Today I am sharing my midway post for

Stamping Sensations

where the challenge is

'choose your theme and stamp it'.

I had a new home card to make for my Son and family

so decided to go with a fun fold die from Tattered Lace and a bit of paper piecing.

The stamp sets I used are from Stampin' Up! called

Coming Home, Signs of Santa, Enjoy Life, Nature's Beauty

and the dies for the trees are In The Woods Framelits.

The little birds were stamped too but very fiddly to cut out!

The papers are called Ice Cream Corner.

For my card I have gone with a shadow box scene.

I got a gorgeous new stamp set called Mountain Air

and was dying to have a play with it.

I created the background scene first then added a few cut out trees

to add some depth.

The front has been decorated with some ribbon, sentiments

and a deer from Nature's Beauty stamp set.

For my card I have used a variety of stamps and created

a snowy scene with my trees and brushes.

The animals have been stamped separately,

coloured with blends and added to my card.

I finished it off with some linen thread.

I love a lot of things but I do love tree stamping

so that's what I went with this time.

I used Beauty of Friendship stamp set

which is packed with lovely different styles of tree tops

and 5 sentiment stamps.

The tree tops are double stamp which allows you to add

some depth to the leaves.

For my card I have used the new in colour papers,

and the basic border dies to add interest.

I stamped the tree base in early expresso,

the leaves in soft succulent and evening evergreen inks.

I used the die cut squares for the centre image

and added grass to the bases using

Nature's Beauty stamp set.

The sentiment has been stamped in soft succulent

and punched using the basic label punch.
