Scrappy Friday

My Scrappy Friday video shows how to use up some scraps
by following a sketch with lots of layers.

I found this sketch over at Cheerful Sketches and thought it
would be a great beginner look into using sketches
to use up your lovely designer papers.

You can watch my video here.

I made a St. Patrick's Day card with my scraps
and retired stash.
The stamp set is called Lucky Clover (R).

I had a good clean out of my wardrobe on Monday,
getting rid of some sweaters that have seen better days
So yesterday I had to go and replace them lol.
There are lots of gorgeous pastel colours about at the minute.
I mostly buy sweatshirts and hoodies for comfort more
than anything else but I did get a nice top in case I get
invited anywhere. So my wardrobe is a bit fuller  and
a lot brighter today!!

Shake your Shamrock!

Happy Monday!
I am starting my week off with a St. Patrick's Day shaker card.
I was inspired by a lovely shaker tag over at Chrissy's amazing blog.

This shows the beads better in the centre panel.
The shamrocks have been stamped and hand cut!
Patience or what lol, but they were pretty easy and quick.

Everything I used is listed below.
Just click the link if there is anything you fancy buying.

Busy, busy, busy!

I put together some treats for my Grandsons for
St. Patrick's Day.
They each got a bottle of apple juice,
bar of chocolate and pack of sweets.
I used the lovely pack called
Gnomes patrick from Nitwits.

I am still very busy here, hence not posting a lot.
My daughter got her house keys so we are slowly shifting
her stuff up there.
As usual, no family about to help lol.
Two of my boys are working late each day,
one has his family away to Lego Land for the school break
and my daughter-in-law has covid!
So you can imagine!

I did finish the wedding invites and table settings.
This is a terrible photo but it shows the
cutlery wraps and some table favours.
Will try get a descent photo of the invites soon
but they are in the same colours as the dice box above
and come in a vellum envelope with a wax bee seal.

Hopefully things will be back to normal by the 12th of April.
Thanks so much to everyone who leaves me comments,
it's lovely to read them and they keep me going!
