Happy Monday!
Holy cow! Christmas is exactly one month away
and I am feeling so disorganised!!

I found a great written tutorial over at Nikki Spencer's blog

Sweet Treat Box

I had a box to make for an upcoming birthday so decided
to do a wee tutorial while I was at it.
I saw the original tutorial from a lady called
Crafty Little Miss K over on YouTube.
I have changed the score lines to make it a bit easier to follow
and changed the inside flap to make it open easier,
but other than that it follows her design.

I used black card and Country Woods for this one as it is
for a masculine birthday.
The sentiment came from a retired set called
Tiny Keepsakes.

I popped a candle in there to show how deep it is.
It is a 2" square box.

You can watch my tutorial here

Score 6" side - 2", 4"

I really enjoyed changing the colour of the foils with my inks,
to give them pretty pastel colours.
These would make perfect little

Stamping Sensations December Challenge

Time for our December challenge over at

The theme this month is
ANYTHING GOES
just remember to stamp, stamp, stamp!!

We are sponsored by

For my project this month I went with a card and matching gift.
I made a card like this before but used reds the last time
and wanted to see if it would work with coastal cabana!
I like it!
The ribbon is a bit shabby. It's from my very old ribbon stash.
I stamped the panels using the Tiny Keepsakes Bundle
which also cuts the cute mini curvy keepsake box.
The box was stamped in the same colour and finished with a little snowflake
and gem.
Perfect for adding some tiny treats or even money.

Hope you get time to join this month.
We will all probably be chasing our tales so be sure and take
some time out for stamping!!

Snowman Season bi-fold card

My Friday shaped card is a Christmas one.
I tried the bi-fold (or is it a single cascade?) card.

I love the striped papers from the Let it Snow dsp
and the cute little snowmen from Snowman Season Bundle.
I teamed it up with the matching colour Coastal Cabana.
All the snowmen and snowflakes have been covered in wink of stella
but hard to see in photo.

Hope you all have a great weekend.
