Double Day

I am sharing my midway post for
where the theme is
Romance/wedding/anniversary/valentine etc or anything goes
just remember to stamp!

We have an amazing prize up for grabs
so be sure and join us!

For my card I used a soft pink card and papers from an old
pack called Country Floral Lane (SU).
I stamped the jigsaw pieces from a stamp set called
Love you to pieces (SU) and the anniversary sentiment
is from a set called Elegantly Said (SU).
I used rectangle dies for the centre and double oval punch
for the sentiment and finished with some pearls.

For my card I used a set called
Woodland Wildlife and Be One with Nature
stamp and stencil set from Sheena Crafts.
I used the owl stencil to stamp my scene
and then used the owl mask to stamp the trees and
cyclist for the background.
This is for my son from his Granny and he is
a triathlete and does a lot of miles on his bike.
I added some colour using my markers and blending
brushes and finished by stamping Happy Birthday
and Grandson using Enjoy Life and Family Party stamp sets.

Spring Tag

It's the second week of Michele's challenge theme

flowers or plants

over at Tag Tuesday.

This week I have gone with a spring theme

with a plant pot and basket of flowers.

I have used Basket of Blooms,

Fable Friends and Love you to Pieces stamp sets.

They have been coloured up using blends

and the ink pads used  are polished pink, bumblebee,

old olive and granny apple green.

I added some designer paper to the base

and finished with a bit of old olive and gold ribbon.

Scrapbook Thursday

It's Grandson number four's turn today
for their March page.
Wee Finbar is just adorable and we are lucky to live
next door to them where we can get glimpses through the fence.
(At a very safe distance of course).
It's funny hearing him in the distance when they are out in the garden.
He can let such a roar when he wants something lol.

These photos are ones his Mum sent me to use.
Look at that chubby little hand.
He looks like he was deep in thought here.

Wet and miserable today!
Oh I am so missing the warm days in the garden.
Now lock down really feels like we are locked down!

Love you to pieces - Valentine card

Happy Valentine's Day!
My card today was a commission for a lady to give to her husband.
I thought the Love you to Pieces bundle would be perfect!
The papers are from a retired set called all my love.
They were really beautiful papers and sadly my stash
is nearly done now :(
The heart sentiment is actually cut into jigsaw pieces!
Cute or what!

Love you to pieces gift box

RETIRED STAMPS FOR SALE HERE

My project today is a bit of a two for one.
I run a challenge for my VIP customers over on facebook
and the prize for July was this fabulous TAKE YOUR PICK tool kit.
It comes in a kraft type box so I wanted to style it up a bit for the winner.

I used the Love You to Pieces stamp set and coloured it using
Pool Party and Daffodil Delight blends.
The little tag has die cut jigsaw pieces in the matching colour
and it's all tied up with pool party ribbon.

Journal Page - love you to pieces

It's Thursday so that means Journal Page day.
I wasn't sure when I started this if I would stick at it but I am finding
it so relaxing and enjoyable. It's making me take time to think about things.
All things in my life, people in my life and where I am at.
Too deep????

Today is a page representing special people in my life who just
help me hold it all together. They are my support network,
my biggest supporters! They push me forward in life, cheer me up
when I'm down and just HOLD ME TOGETHER!.

I did some watercolouring using my ink pads, some ripping and tearing,
die cutting, stamping and even some stencil work.
I had loads of fun and I knew exactly who I was meaning this for
while making it.
Give journaling a go, you will really enjoy it!!
