Snowy Christmas

Just popping on to share a card I made for one of my boys.
There is Mum, Dad and two boys so I used half
a snowman for each of the kids.
I used some wintery background paper from SU and added
some torn paper for the snow hills.
The snow people are from a Polkadoodles stamp and die set.
They have been coloured up with markers and
I stamped and coloured some parcels to set in front of the kids.
The snow has had some glamour dust sprinkled on
and I stamped the sentiment from
Itty Bitty Christmas (SU) and punched the layers out
using the double oval punch (SU).

I'll be back tomorrow with my tag then that's me
stuck in the kitchen for a while lol!

Selection Pack!

As always I have made the kids some selection packs.
I think these are much better value than buying
the usual selection boxes.

For the boys I did a snowman theme using the Snowman
stamp set from Polkadoodles.
He has been die cut and coloured up using markers
then stuck to some red paper matted onto silver card.

Inside the packs I have included warm socks,
cocoa drinks, chocolate treats, candy cane and biscuits..

I also made one for a young niece who calls around
Christmas time.
I went with a Santa Claus for her from Do Crafts
coloured up with markers and matted the same as the others.

I hope you are all ready, craft wise at least for the big day!!
I will be back tomorrow with some little angels.

Snowman scene

I treated myself to some Polkadoodles stamps, dies and stencils recently
and they just arrived so had a quick play.
I made this one completely flat but will definitely
play around more next time. Just needed to get
a feel for them first.

I started by stencilling the background using the snowfall stencil
in balmy blue ink.
I then stamped the snowman, coloured him up with markers
and wink of stella and left him to one side.

Next I stamped some trees in the background using
an old stamp set from SU called Evergreen Elegance.
I then tore some paper for snowy edges and stuck in place.
The snowman was then stuck down along with his
santa hat. The stamp set has a nice variety of items to
change up the snowman and this is one big snowman!!

I finished with lots of more wink of stella which does not
show up in the photo at all, along with a sentiment.

Meow!

I have another tag for the lovely Michele's theme
CATS
over at Tag Tuesday!

Not a great photo, I did mean to re take it but totally forgot.
The background has been embossed using a brick folder.
I then cut a rectangle for a window so he could perch there nicely
and watch the world go by.
I added some stencilled grass using a stencil from Polkadoodles.
The ball of wool, fish and sentiment are from a stamp set
from Tim Holtz.
I finished with a black bow.

Mermaid on the rocks!

My second tag for Michele's Mermaid theme at
is a digital one.
As I said last week I don't have a mermaid stamp at all so
had a hunt around in my digi stamps and found this one
from Polkadoodles when I was on their design team many years ago.
She was already coloured so I just needed to create a little scene for her.
The underwater bit is from PNG wing, the clouds are from Nitwits
as is the seagull.
I finished the tag with some knotted rope from Nitwits
and a navy background.
