First Christmas Mini Album

I have another little mini album to share today.

This one was made for my Granddaughter Aimee's first Christmas

this December.

On the front I made a shaker with the little penguin and some fake snow.

On the side I added a bell and some pompoms

and it has been closed using some red and white gingham ribbon.

The whole thing was constructed using real red card and scraps

from two Christmas paper packs.

I also used some Nitwits images for embellishments here and there.

My very last card following

For this one I have used the Penguin Playmates papers

and just fussy cut each little animal.

The sentiment has been stamped in misty moonlight

using Dashing Deer stamp set.

I finished with a few Tutti Designs snowflakes and gems.

Card sketch 15 today from Kendra's Card Challenge

for my Christmas cards.

I added some backing papers from the Penguin Playmates pack,

all matted onto misty moonlight card stock.

I cut the animals out from scraps from the same pack

and popped them behind the centre pieces.

The wording was cut using the

Word Wishes Dies. I drew round them with a silver pen

then added some wink of stella for sparkle.

I finished with some Tutti Designs snowflakes and gems.

I have cut the polar bear from the

Penguin Playmates papers and stamped

a little snowy background for him using Penguin Place stamps

and fresh freesia ink pad.

The background mats were made using Misty Moonlight card.

We had a great day at Carlingford yesterday with temperatures of 25 degrees!

We went for a short walk along the water edge and up round the castle

then sat down with a big 99!

Dull as ditch water today though!!

We had a lovely day out to Omeath yesterday

and I can tell you I really needed it!!

Weather was overcast but very warm, perfect walking temperatures.

I got my 10,000 steps no bother at all

and we even had a sandwich in Subway for the first time

in a year and a half 😂

Babysitting is over for another couple of weeks.

Much as I love seeing the Grandkids the last two days

were fun but exhausting!!

Today it rained non stop so we couldn't get them outside

at all and after lunch they had a lot of surplus energy left.

Unfortunately we had very little 😂

Back to the craft room this morning but

it is still hot.

Yesterday consisted of lots of lollipops and drinks

for the Grandkids.

If this heat keeps up I might need to invest in a paddling pool,

though it would need to be a big one  so I could get in too!!

I used Just Jade card, basic borders dies, and

just jade ink pad.
