Birthday wishes tag

This is another tag for my challenge at
TAG TUESDAY.
I just played around with Framed Florets stamp set,
tiny bit of colouring and added a torn piece of vellum
that was lying on my desk annoying me lol.
I finished with some bakers twine.

I hope you get time to join us.

Lovely sunny day out there. We are still fighting the battle
against the rats outside. Think we are down to one!
I will be so glad when we are done with this, if ever!
I am waking up at night thinking I am hearing them,
so exhausting!! Might get my son to bring one of his dogs
down and give them a scare!!
Any suggestions will be gratefully accepted.
We have never had this problem before thanks to our wee
Squirt (RIP).😌

Snowman tag

I've been neglecting my tag making so I'm here to make it right!
I wanted to see if I could make a rosette for my tag using the corrugated texture embossing folder
and I'm pretty happy with the results!
It has a good covering of wink of stella and then I stamped, coloured and cut out
the cute wee snowman!

He really does sparkle and will make a perfect tag for one of my Grandsons.

How I made it:

1. I cut a 2" x 5" piece of old olive card and punch the tag top
2. I added a piece of Under the Mistletoe dsp
2. Using the embossing folder I ran a 1" x 8" piece of whisper white card through.
3. I joined the edges to form the rosette using wet glue and adhered to a circle of card to hold.
4. I added some wink of stella and adhered to tag.
5. I stamped the snowman, coloured with watercolour pencils and added wink of stella.
6. He was cut out and added to the rosette using dimensionals.
7. I stamped the sentiment, cut to separate the words and adhered top and bottom of tag.
8. It was finished with a piece of poppy parade ribbon.

Snow couple!

I'm starting my week with a clean and simple card,
well clean and simple for me.
I have raised the little snow couple on dimensionals, along with the snowflake
but everything else is one layer.

I stamped the snow couple and sentiment using a lovely new stamp set which will be
available on 5th September when the autumn/winter catalogue goes live.
It's called Spirited Snowmen and I will be using it a lot this week, hopefully
giving you lots of inspiration if you happen to have it on your wish list!

You will be able to download a copy of the Autumn/Winter catalogue
in my sidebar on that date!

So I first made the background using some spectrum noir pens on watercolour paper.
I flicked some water on the background when it was still wet to get the snowflake effect.
I left the bottom section plain white for the snow.
I stamped the Snow couple and coloured using stampin write and stampin blend pens.
They both had a smothering of wink of stella to dazzle them up.
I used a new framelit set available in September called Santa's Signpost
to cute the two snowflakes.
The sentiment was stamped in night of navy and the snow couple in memento inks.
I layered it onto a white base card and finished with some wink of stella
for the snow.
