Pretty Kitty birthday card

Another birthday card request! This time for a lady who loves her cats!
How perfect is Pretty Kitty stamp set for this card.
If you like it though, please buy it now as it retires end of May!!

How I made this card:
1. My base card is a5 in size.
2. I cut the gingham gala in 3 strips measuring 5 2/8" x 2".
I adhered these onto my base card and added some faux stitching
using a silver gel pen.
3. I stamped 5 cat images onto whisper white card using memento ink.
These were coloured using blends and cut out.
The centre image was also stamped directly onto the gingham and coloured.
4. Add the cat images using dimensionals as shown in card photo.
5. Stamp your sentiment onto whisper white in highland heather.
Punch out using the tailored punch tag and add faux stitching.
6. I generated the recipients name on my computer using the Highland Heather
Hex Code and punch using the everyday label punch.
All sentiments and names were added using dimensionals.
7. I stamp the flower pot cat partially, making sure I got the flower I wanted.
I cut it out and coloured with blends and adhered in place.
8. I finished the card with some adhesive-backed sequins.

Journal Page - love you to pieces

It's Thursday so that means Journal Page day.
I wasn't sure when I started this if I would stick at it but I am finding
it so relaxing and enjoyable. It's making me take time to think about things.
All things in my life, people in my life and where I am at.
Too deep????

Today is a page representing special people in my life who just
help me hold it all together. They are my support network,
my biggest supporters! They push me forward in life, cheer me up
when I'm down and just HOLD ME TOGETHER!.

I did some watercolouring using my ink pads, some ripping and tearing,
die cutting, stamping and even some stencil work.
I had loads of fun and I knew exactly who I was meaning this for
while making it.
Give journaling a go, you will really enjoy it!!

Enjoy life birthday card

I had a card request for a birthday card for a Priest.
I struggle with these as you automatically lean towards a religious card
but they would probably love to receive a 'birthday card'.
So this is what I made.

How I made this card
1. Using an a5 card as your base cut tranquil tide 5 6/8" x 8"
Add a piece of dsp 5 5/8" x 7 7/8"
2. Mark 2" at either side, top and bottom, and add tear and tape.
Stick ribbon across both these sections.
3. Using circle dies, cut largest in tranquil tide, next size down
in whisper white and 2 sizes more down in whisper white.
4. On second largest stamp design using soft suede,
working round the circle till you are happy.
5. On smallest circle stamp your quote using grapefruit grove
and stamp two small butterflies in soft suede.
6. Adhere largest circle in place, using dimensionals add
next circle and finally the smallest.
Finish with a small knot of ribbon as above.
7. Cut two rectangles in tranquil tide. Type up your sentiment
and name using hex code for tranquil tide and make sure they measure no more
than 6cm x 1 cm. Print and cut out using the smaller rectangle die.
Layer these together and adhere to your card, top and bottom.
8. Stamp out 4 small butterflies, punch and colour using
grapefruit grove and tranquil tide markers.
Stick in place using wet glue and add bodies and antenna.
