Best salesman!

This card was made for my friend's Grandson
who works in car sales in Australia.

I used a KennyK image and used a photo
for the background.
I coloured it up with markers and cut it out
to sit in front of the photo.
The papers I used are from Nitwits called
Beep Beep.

Double Post

Time for my midway post for our challenge over at
where the optional theme is beginning with B.

We have a lovely prize up for grabs so
be sure and join us.

For my card I used a bird stamp from
AALL & Create called Bird Collage.
I stamped the image then added lots of colour
using my blending brushes.
I tied a piece of white ribbon around
and created a bow then adhered it to a white
card base, rounding the corners of both.
I finished with the wording from an old
sticker book.

They are hung in place with the cute little

Love Actually!

I was invited to take part in the
challenge for this month and the theme is based around
the movie Love Actually.
One of my MUST WATCH movies every year!
So they would like to see anything around that theme
like love, hearts, valentine etc.

For my card I used an old image from Make it Crafty,
coloured up with markers.
I have used this image so many times for birthdays,
engagements, valentine, anniversary etc,
when I was selling my cards. A definite favourite.
I die cut the love words and border using
a die from Tutti Designs in red card.
I added some hearts from the die around the
couple and matted it onto my red card base.

Be sure and pop over and check them out

Super Son!

Trying to get back into a descent routine after
all the Christmas/New Year festivities or maybe
laziness lol.
So first up is a card for my Son's birthday
later this month.

He is a Super son and dad and will do anything for anybody
even though he has little to no time to himself.
His youngest boy is Autistic and high on the spectrum
so takes a lot of handling.
Finbar is so good with him and deserves
a special day.

I used a Bugaboo image for this one,
coloured up with markers and
the papers are from Nitwits called Pocake Masculine.

Double Post

Our first challenge for 2026 over at
has started and the theme is
Beginning with B/anything goes.

We have a lovely prize up for grabs
so be sure and join us.

I went with a Bookmark for my B as
I had made two of these for my Grandsons
who are both avid readers.
I used stamps from Card-io called Biscuit Buddies
and the papers are from The Creepsville
Gazette, IndigoBlu.

I punched some tiny pages from my dictionary
to turn into mini books for the mice to read.
The bookmarkers are actually wooden ones
which I covered with the papers,
back and front then stamped directly
over the top.
The sentiment is from an old HD book
of quotes. I finished them off with
some wool.

Final post

My final post before the big day.
I had to make a lot of ATCs to decorate the
inside of my gift purses recently and
thought I would share the last two.

This one was made using Card-io stamps called
Smiley and Sleepy and Peaceful Panorama.
I just stamped and masked off areas to create
the scene.
I added enamel effect pearls in red to the tree
and the snowman was coloured with markers.

This one was made using a set from SU called
Dashing Deer.
I inked up the background in blue, masking off for the sun
then stamping the trees along the bottom.
I die cut the deer using the same set and inked
around the edges of him and added a red nose.
After sticking him in place,
I spritzed some white and gold inks over
the top of everything.
I added the word MAGIC
using my label maker.

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas
and I'm sending hugs to those who will struggle.
The fight is real at this time of the year
for a lot of us.

Christmas angels

This year I decided to get a smaller tree
and I gave my bigger tree to my daughter.
So as she hadn't many decorations for it I
decided to make her some angels.
I used an old dictionary that belonged to my late Mum
which I thought would make them special for her.
I punched the bottom of her dress,
added ribbon to the top of her dress
and her head is a wooden bead with a
pipe cleaner for her halo.
She has some waxed thread fed through the
bead so she can hang from the tree.
I left her face blank so my daughter,
who is an artist by trade, could add her
own facial features.

I made as many as I could in a small space of time
and packaged them up with tissue and a pretty box.

She was very pleased with them.

Night in Bethlehem

I made two of this design for family members.
The stamp set I used is called Night in Bethlehem (SU).
I used a rectangle stencil from Lisa Horton to
create the background then stamped Mary and Joseph
on top and a sentiment badly in the corner.
It has been layered on to a red card base.

This is the blue version.

Mr Snowman

I had wanted to do a few felt pieces for my
Christmas display but I simply ran out of time
except for this little snowman.

He was a bit rushed but he sits perfectly
in my table display.
I used wool from World of Wool
and his scarf was cut from a bit of felt.
His nose is quite long but looks big
at this angle lol.

Tag-along with us

It's time for a midway post over at
where the theme is red and green/anything goes.
And remember you can now enter with a tag,
an ATC or a bookmark!!

For my tag I started with a white background,
punched for the tag shape using my trio punch.
I then played around with my green and red inks,
spritzing with water and allowing it to
get it's groove on lol.
When dry, I dipped the lid of my wink of stella pen
into white ink and added the circles to the bottom
of the tag.
I then flicked some gold and white ink over the
whole tag. I die cut the snowflake (Tutti Designs)
and added to the centre and decorated with
a large red pearl.
I stamped the sentiment (SU) and added  to
the tag and then went in with some red
enamel effects for more texture.
I inked around the edge of the tag in green
and finished with some red and green ribbon
through the eyelet.

For my ATC I started with a white background
to which I added red and green ink and spritzed
with water and allowed to dry.
I then went in with a stencil (SU) and added
some Tim Holtz crystal paste.
I then used a stamp/die set called  Dashing Deer
and die cut the reindeer in kraft card.
I stamped the little flower over the top of
him and added a tiny dot of enamel effects in red.
I added him to my ATC
and then drew around him in black to make him pop.
I finished with a sticker sentiment.
