Past memories

I have another tag for my challenge over at
This time I made one for my late Mum's Album which
I am still working on.

The photo is of her when she was about 21, maybe even younger.
I am totally in love with my new stamp set - Love this Moment
and you will be seeing me use it a lot in my tags and albums for sure.

I used the stamps along with berry burst to decorate my papers,
to add sentiments and the flower sprays are also from that set
which I partly coloured using ink and wink of stella.

Birthday Tag!

Happy Monday!

As I had some scrap papers ready sized for the brick layer effect
I thought I would make a tag for my challenge over at
TAG TUESDAY
where the theme is anything new!
Will be perfect for my Son's birthday present next week too!

I used my new stamp set  - Beautiful Balloons.
The papers are also new - Bright and Beautiful
and the colours I went with are Berry Burst, Parakeet Party
and Azure Afternoon inks.

We had our first fall of snow today.
Thankfully the sun is out so hoping it disappears quickly!
We had to pick up two of the Grandkids from school today
so don't fancy sliding down the hill outside school😂
Stay warm and keep crafting!

Welcome to my newest follower Sue!
Thanks so much for following my blog.

Brick layer effect

My tutorial today shows how to make the brick layer background
which you can see in my card above.

I used some scraps from my Bright and Beautiful dsp set
and thought it lent itself to a new baby card.

I followed the sketch over at Try a sketch on Tuesday
using Places in the Heart stamp set and a retired one
called All for Baby.

You can watch my video here.

Chocolate gift idea

My tutorial today is some gifts for my shoppers this month.
With Sale-a-bration! just started I have been lucky enough
to have a few lovely customers shopping already so I thought
I would make a start on their thank you gifts.

I got these lovely long bars of chocolate and dressed them up for posting.
They really are nice looking when finished.
You can get these bars in B & M stores if you fancy having a go.

Only took his 5 1/2 months. 😂
I am sure that makes us the most patient couple ever!!
