Hang an Ornament

I have another Christmas card for my small pile!!
For this one I used poppy parade card and some retired
Christmas papers. The front panel was embossed using a
Tattered Lace embossing folder to which I wrapped
some bakers twine and tied in a bow.
The bauble is stamped from a set called
Hang an Ornament Bundle and I die cut
the holly leaves from the same set.
For the berries I used pearlised enamel effects
and I cut the top of the bauble in gold card.
Quick and easy!!

Final School Year

My Grandson Sean is now in his final year in primary school
so I thought I would make a mini album to store
precious photos of his final year.
This little album only measures 4" x 4" x 1" and will
hold 16 photos.

The paper pack was called Paper Pazazz School Days
and I have had it for years.
It comes with lots of little cut outs to decorate so the only
stamp set I used was called Alphabest (SU).
The base is all black card stock.

You can watch a quick walk through here

As we both have our travel passes now we had planned to
go to Dublin on the train today but we slept in
and missed the early train 😂
We will try again next week!!

Numbers

I have been away from my blog this past week as
we sadly lost a very dear uncle.
But today is a new day and I am back with a tag
for Sandie's theme NUMBERS
over at TAG TUESDAY.
Why don't you come and join us!

For my tag I stamped a ticket in the background.
It's from a set I got free with a magazine years ago
and it full of vintage type stamps with trains, air balloons,
etc. Does anyone know the name of the company??
The other stamp set is from Chronology. I used the clock
and cogs. I inked up my background in pumpkin pie ink.
The sentiment is from a set from AALL & CREATE and it says
life is short, smile while you still have teeth!! So funny lol.

Girlie Birthday

Still sharing my September birthday cards.
This one was for a niece of ours from her Granny.
Martina has the loveliest red hair and it is curly but
she always blows it out!
As she is a nurse and I have done her a nurse card many times,
I went with a relax card with a little cup cake.
This image is from Digi Stamp Boutique, sadly
no longer selling.
It has been coloured using my markers and then
framed using Nitwits papers.
The sentiments are all computer generated.

All about Mum

I finally finished my biggest album yet!
I started this way last year and it was so big I had
to keep taking breaks and go back with fresh eyes
every month and now it's finally finished.
It is all about my Mum and her family and life
with whatever photos I had.

I decided to use some beads again along the spine
and I went with a snap closure as it is so jam packed!!

I also reinforced the corners with some metal corner edges.

The papers are really really old and the front even
faded over the year while I was working on it lol.
You can watch a quick walk through below

You will see some of my previously made tags throughout the album,
and one from my lovely friend Brenda too.
I thought they added a nice splash of colour here and there.
I also used a stamp set called Flourishing Phrases (SU), flowers, leaves etc throughout
and the album and some rub ons too.

It's your birthday!

I have a card for our midway post over at
where the theme of September's challenge is
anything goes with the option of animal magic!

We do of course, have a lovely prize up for grabs,
in fact two lovely prizes from
so come and join us!!

For my card today I pulled out an old stamp set called
Counting Sheep (SU).
I inked up my background paper in granny apple green ink
then stamped, cut and coloured the sheep and hats
from that set, using markers.
I stamped some sparkles in the background then
added my sheep and hats along with a few
stamped blades of grass.
The sentiment was stamped along the bottom.
I layered it all onto matching green card and then
onto my card base.
I searched through my stamp sets and found the little cake
from Tabs for Everything (SU) which fitted perfectly
in the sheep's foot!

Bear necessities!!

It's time for a new theme over at
and this time Sandie wants to see NUMBERS!

I was searching for a different stamp entirely when I came
across some of my old wooden stamps from
Forever Friends.
I have a handful of these which I kept for the
Grandkids when they spent the day here.

I made my tag base from a lilac card then added some scraps
from HOTP birthday pack along with a paper ribbon.
I stamped some numbers into each circle using
Alphabest and Make a Difference stamp sets (SU).
I coloured up the bear with my markers and cut him out.
I finished with  some ribbon and a sentiment and cut out
from the paper back.

Come and join us and use up some of your table scraps!!

The beach is my happy place!

Friday the 13th! 🙄 I'm too long in the tooth now to worry lol.

I have another card I made before going on holidays.
This was for a boy who loves to surf and lives in Australia.

The image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and the papers are from
Nitwits. I used a few cut outs from an old paper pack
to embellish.
He has been coloured using my markers.

School Days!

We got back from our holidays last night!
Ten days away was long for us but we had
such a great time and even the weather was kind
to us!!
We hit Galway, Limerick, Killarney, Cork and then home.

Luckily I had my tag made as I am knee deep in washing,
changing to a warmer duvet and a general clean up!
I'll need another holiday after it lol.

The lovely Michele has chosen the theme 'school days' this
fortnight over at
so I dug out a paper pack from HOTP and stamped
this little Lili of the Valley image and coloured him up with my markers.
He is such a cute little boy!

I hope you get time to join in with the theme this fortnight.
