Starburst Card with Come Sail Away

This was my other card idea for my VIP Group.
I used basic black card and lovely papers from
Come Sail Away.
This card was super easy and enjoyable to make
and would be perfect for Father's Day or Birthdays.

Another lovely day here.
We had breakfast out on the decking this morning.
The birds were singing, the sun was shining and SUDDENLY
a car backfired and I nearly drowned us in coffee!!
Have a great weekend.

In-colours striped card

I have seen a lot of starburst type cards around Pinterest
and thought I would do a video of two that I tried for my
VIP Group.
(You get an invite when you shop with me)

Today I am sharing the striped one and
I have used the retiring in-colours for my colourways.
I did some white embossing for the sentiment.
A great card for using up those precious scraps.

I'll be back tomorrow with the other version I made.

Scrapbook Thursday

This is Grandson Tom's April page.
April was his birthday month so I went with a nice page
so he could look back and remember lock down!
You can see his mum in the background holding up the ipad
which is how we all participated.
As he was in touch with both sets of Grandparents the cake looked
mighty sparse when it came to our turn to see him blow out the candles!
But he took it all in his stride.

I amazed myself as to how much I could get onto
a 6" x 6" page but had great fun with this layout from Sketches in Thyme.
I also got inspiration from
More than Words.

Napkin/Nappy Fold Gift Packs

My Wednesday Tutorial was a special request from a team member.
It's a napkin fold/nappy fold but I took it a step
further and made them in 3 different sizes.
The gold one is made using a sheet of 12 x 12 paper.
The Christmas one is made using 8 x 8 paper.
The smallest one, perfect for table treats/birthday treats
and uses 6 x 6 paper.
