Easter mini egg gift box tutorial

My tutorial today

shows how to make these cute little

Easter Gift Boxes that hold

4 mini eggs.

Sounds a bit miserable but the Grandkids

will get loads of these little treat packages

along with their big egg 😁

Measurements needed to follow along

Designer Paper - 6" x 4 1/2"

Score long side - 1", 4"

score short side - 1/2", 1 1/2", 2 1/2", 3 1/2"

I have used In-Colours seaside spray papers and ink

and the stamp set is called

Nature's Beauty.

The punches I used are called

Lovely Labels pick a punch

(available as a bundle saving with stamp set)

and

Oval Occasions

(also available as a bundle with stamp set)

Things with wings

It's the second week of our challenge over at

TAG TUESDAY

where the theme is anything with wings.

This week I have used

Dragonfly Garden bundle.

I made an inky background using

Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green ink pads

and sprayed with water to get a bleached effect.

TIP: you can get a set of 8 mini ink pads

for a great price HERE.

I stamped out two dragonflies and inked up

using the same inks and my blending brushes.

The words were cut from the sentiments

of the same set, cut out and inked.

I set it all onto a piece of

Bermuda Bay card.

I was well spoiled from a distance 😀

My card today is another commission.

This one for a 70th Birthday.

I have used the gorgeous

True Love papers.

I used the black and white spotty papers

and inked them up using my blending brushes.

It has been paired up with melon mambo card

and ink and I used the stitched rectangle dies

to make a frame for the lovely cake stamp (retired).

The flowers were cut from the True Love papers

and coloured with my blends.

The name was stamped with

Make a Difference stamp set.

Timeless Tulips for Mother's Day

My VIP video today shows how to make

this CAS Mother's Day card.

I have used

using Magenta Madness, Bumblebee and

Granny Apple Green ink pads.

It is one cold day today and snow has been forecast!

We do have sunshine at the minute

but still freezing.

I had one of my lovely customers contact me

to say her and her daughter both have Covid

and are feeling really ill.

It's still so scary! This lady has had her first injection already

and still got it really bad!

Luck of the Irish!

This is the last of my

St. Patrick's Day cards.

These two are for my brother and sister.

Quick and easy,

basically stamping a variety of hearts

to make the shamrocks and two different

shades of green.

I added corner lines to give some definition

as usual with me, it was an after thought 😂

The sentiment  was computer generated

and punched out using the

Oval Occasions Punch.

The stamp set is

Meant To Be

and the inks were

Granny Apple Green and Old Olive.

I used a bit of bumblebee ribbon

behind each sentiment.

St. Patrick's Day Biscuit Box

My tutorial today is another gift for my Grandsons.

This one is a little box with a window

that holds four viscount biscuits.

I did make a bigger versions but it held 7

biscuits which I thought was a bit much!!

You can also fill with chocolate sweets/eggs etc.

Wings at Tag Tuesday

The theme over at

TAG TUESDAY

has been chosen by me and I would love to see

ANYTHING WITH WINGS!

So a wide open theme for sure.

For this tag I have gone with a Spring like scene.

I used the stamp set called 

Quite Curvy

for the little birds and the trees came from

Life is Beautiful which is sadly retired.

I created the clouds using my homemade stencil and

Pool Party Ink Pad.

The birds have been coloured using

Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Granny Apple Green blends.

The leaves on the trees have been coloured with

Old Olive Blends.

I punched the top of the tag with the

Scallop Tag Topper Punch

and finished with a bit of

Bumblebee Ribbon.

Meant to Be Forty Shades of Green!

Happy Monday!

I have been making St. Patrick's Day cards

for my family who all live

in England and Wales.

So I like to remind them where they came from 😁

This one is for my oldest Brother.

It's called a Corner Fold card and a first for me!

I have used

Meant to Be

to create the shamrocks as I do not have a shamrock stamp!

The papers are from the

Ice Cream Corner pack.

The sentiment is computer generated

and has been punched out using

Oval Occasions Bundle punch.

The ink I used is called

Granny Apple Green

and I finished it with a little bit of gold thread.

So the noise is back in our area yet again.

From lockdown we have had Virgin Media

digging up the pathways then

we had the water board digging up the roads.

They then had to come back because they made a

mistake and now we have the gas people

digging up the roads again!

Seriously, I understand they have a job to do

but why does it have to start at 6am

and even go through the weekends as well!

The roads are in a total mess,

like a patchwork quilt and the noise!!😡😱

 

 

Ice Cream Corner Monochromatic

Our challenge for March, over at

STAMPING SENSATIONS

has started and the theme is

Monochromatic!

We are sponsored by

For my card I have used the lovely papers from the

Ice Cream Corner pack

along with some from the Oh So Ombre pack.

I added some blackberry bliss ribbon across the centre.

The centre panel has been made using

blackberry bliss card.

You can see in the photo I made it so it

sits out from the card, kinda pops up when you take

out of the envelope.

I stamped the lollipops using the 

Sweet Ice Cream stamp set

and blackberry bliss ink pad.

I added some wink of stella to the lollipops.

The sentiment was stamped then punched

using the classic label punch.

I finally stamped the Happy Birthday,

cut it out and added to top of card.

The white dots were leftover from one

of my Stampin' Up! kits.

Two versions, same stamp set

Clean and simple version

My card today started out to be clean and simple

but I just felt it lacked something today

so I made two versions.

I have used the Forever Fern stamp set for both.

Stepped up version

I have used Bumblebee card, ink and ribbon

and a little bit of colour in the dots using

Flirty Flamingo ink.

The circles were punched using the 1 3/4" and

2" circle punches.

I have a video in my VIP group for beginners.

Butterfly Gala Birthday

I'm sharing another one of my commissioned card.

This one for an older lady's birthday.

Think she is in her 90's.

I used another pre printed Lili of the Valley flower pot.

I used papers from the paper blooms paper set

and added some lace.

The butterflies have been stamped in rococo rose ink

using Butterfly Gala stamp set and matching punch.

The Happy Birthday is from Sweet Ice cream stamp set.

Her name was stamped using

Make a difference stamp set.
