Dress it up!

It's the second week of Sandie's theme

I have used the patchwork pieces dies for my background

and then used some Nitwits downloads called Seams to me, to create the decoration.

I finished the card by stapling some bubble bath ribbon to the top.

Sticky notes!

Happy Monday!

Today I am sharing a wee project I made to show off this

stamp set - TIME FOR TAGS which is the prize for

my August challenge over at Create with Pinky on FaceBook.

I am beginning to like this set so much I might change my mind 😂

I have made little matchbox type holders for some

sticky notes. Perfect for your handbag, back of your phone,

on your desk, back to school or by the phone etc etc.

I will have a tutorial for the bigger version of this next week.

Patchwork Pieces

For my VIP Group this week I used a new set of dies called

Patchwork Pieces dies along with Hey Chuck stamp set.

I loved using both these sets. They make such fun cards

to cheer up a persons day.

Great way to use up those scraps too as you just need two pieces

measuring 3 1/4" x 4 3/4".

Purrfect Birthday

I am just dropping in to share a birthday card I

made for a family member who loves cats!

This stamp set is retired but will remain with me for

the two cat lovers in our family.

Are they not adorable!

I went with a slim card this time

Paper Florist

Today my tutorial came about as I needed a nice storage box

to store all my die cut flowers from the Paper Florist set.

I made the dimensions to suit the size of my die cuts

so each would have a little place to stay until needed.

Measurements needed to make one

Card - 11" x 8"

Score short side - 1", 7"

Score long side - 1", 5", 6", 10"

Dividers - one at - 5 7/8" x 2 1/2"

two at - 3 7/8" x 2 1/2"

DSP for inside

six pieces at - 1 7/8" x 1 7/8"

DSP for lid, inside and out

5 6/8" x 3 6/8"

A little bit of stitchery!

Our new challenge over at

TAG TUESDAY

has been chosen by the lovely Sandie and

she wants to see sewing/stitch related tags.

Sadly I don't have any sewing/stitch stamps other than

a retired set called Stitchery. So I used that along the lines

of my countryside inn papers in the background.

The sewing machine and sentiment are from Nitwits.

I matted everything onto bubble bath card, punched

some hearts using Country Bouquet punch and added two

holes to make them look like buttons.

I finished with some bubble batch ribbon stapled in place.
