Wishing you a day...

I'm starting my week off with this lovely little card that would suit any
happy occasion - birthday, wedding, special day etc.
I love this colour combination and I love the Nature's Poem dsp.

The stamp set I used today is called
and I have used the sentiment stamp along with the flowers
all of which were stamped using rich razzleberry ink.
The card is also rich razzleberry and works perfectly
with the dsp.
I using the circle framelits for the layers
and stamped the flowers a few times so I could add dimension.

Mini storage idea

I was doing a bit of tidying in my craft room before starting the week ahead
and realised I REALLY needed some storage for my little dimensionals.
So this is what I came up with.
I wanted it to match previous storage I have made and you can watch a video on that below.

My storage today is a smaller version of this.

Measurements needed:
Black card - 11" x 4"
score long side - 1", 5 1/4", 6 1/4", 10 1/2"
score short side - 1"
DSP - two pieces 4 1/8" x 2 7/8"
two pieces 7/8" x 2 7/8"

I cut the top of the dimensional pack to use as a label for my box.

You will need:
black card, share what you love dsp, wet glue, snail adhesive,
score board, scissors, 1" circle punch

Birthday circles

My final birthday card of the week using

This one is certainly aimed at a girl who likes pink (me)!

I used the flame stamp to create the smaller balloons (put it upside down)
I finally cracked open my ruffled ribbon (so hard to do as I love it)
and stamped the images in powder pink ink.

You're never too old!

WINNER'S BADGE

Another birthday card using the

I just love this sentiment

and I followed it through to inside the card!

This is a great sketch for using up leftover pieces of cardstock and dsp.
The sentiment and candles where stamped using
I stamped the darkest candles first then, without inking,
stamped to either side to add the candle layers.
I did the same again with the flames.

Hooray Birthday Card

I have another birthday card to add to my card box
(which you can see tomorrow on my YouTube channel)

This time I am still using the same stamp set
but I went with lovely Highland Heather papers from the Subtles 6 x 6 pack.
I teamed it up with Highland Heather ink pad
and added some colour to the candle flames using promarkers.
I cut the  circle framelit and stamped the Hooray,
added some pearls and an organza bow to finish.
The birthday sentiment was simply stamped and cut,
adding a few tails to either end.
Finish the card off by added one of  the gorgeous

I would so recommend this bundle!!

Quick and easy gift box

I received a cute little soap bar from Lush for my birthday
but was very disappointed in the way it was presented and I know these products
are not cheap so why not give them in nicer packaging!
So anyway, I decided to package my own.
I definitely will buy some Lush products for presents throughout the year
so I will now have cute little boxes to pop them in.

I have made a tutorial which you can watch on YouTube

I have used lovely fresh fig card stock
teamed up with the gorgeous dsp from Nature's Poem
(available in the buy 3 get 1 free selection)
The stamp set is Labels to Love, stamped in Highland Heather ink
and punched using the everyday label punch.
I have finished them off with some Share what you love pearls
and some linen thread tied in a double bow.
I recommend wet glue and dimensionals for this project.

The measurements you will need for this size of box are:

Card stock - 5" x 7"
Score 5" side - 1", 4"
Score 7" side - 1", 3", 4", 6"

Dsp -  2" x 6 1/2" for belly wrap

Make a wish!

I have used my latest stamp set

BROADWAY BIRTHDAY

which works perfectly with the

BROADWAY LIGHTS
and they can be bought as a bundle saving you 10%

This is a c6 size card, made with night of navy card stock for the base.
I added some Twinkle Twinkle dsp
which can be bought using the buy 3 get 1 free July offer.
and then stamped the hats, candles, flames and the MAKE A sentiment.
I die cut the frame in night of navy and the WISH in powder pink card.
I added the yellow and navy pops of colour by using the framelit
as a stencil, colouring through the tiny holes.
I used night of navy, daffodil delight and powder pink ink pads.

This card is part of a set I am working on this week
and they will all go in a matching box when finished.

Christmas journey

My card was featured at

My final Christmas card for the week and its nice and flat
which makes for great postage come December when we have loads to post!

I used the
Night in Bethlehem
stamp set again for this along with a base of crumb cake
which I ran through the Big Shop with my
Pinewood Planks embossing folder.
I then layered on a piece of Under the Mistletoe dsp.
To make the centre panel I used a 2" deep strip of water colour card.
Using daffodil delight and bermuda bay ink pads I watercoloured the background
then stamped the buildings in early expresso and the sentiment in real red ink pads.
I finished by stamping Mary and Joseph in black and cutting them out so I
could add dimensionals to raise them up.
Really quick and easy card, one that could be repeated for batch making.

Night in Bethlehem

My first Christmas card for Stampin' Up!
I'm hoping now I've started I will keep them going and be so
organised by November!

This card was made using my very first Stamp Set from my Demonstrator starter kit
and it is called
Night in Bethlehem
It has three beautiful sentiments and three large silhouette images
as well as the star and a cluster of stars.

I made the background by water colouring and then stamped
the buildings, followed by the sentiment and finishing off
stamping the star and star clusters.
I stamped the big star a second time and cut round it so I could raise it up.
I used black and grapefruit grove ink pads.
I simply stuck on to a black card base.
