Basket of Blooms

Happy Monday!
My card today is a get well card for my basket.
Between get well and sympathy cards this past month,
I am completely cleaned out!

For this card I made a quick and easy fold to add interest
and used my new stamp set
Basket of Blooms along with Butterfly Gala.
The card I used is mint macaron and matching papers from the subtles set.

Funfold Friday

My VIP Video shows how to make your own
centre step card with a few simple cuts and folds,
allowing you to make the size you want rather than being tied to a die size.

This is how I decorated the inside.

I have a video for you to watch if you want to have a go.

Measurements needed to follow along with video
Card - 11 1/2" x 6"
Short side
Line up at 1" and cut from 1 1/4" to 7"
Flip card and repeat above.
Long side
Score - 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 7" up to cut.
Flip and repeat.
Finally score at 5 3/4" between the two cuts
to form the centre fold.

Scrapbook Thursday

I have actually made two layouts for Tom's book today
as when I was checking through it I had left a space to do
a double layout and never got round to the second page.
So here he is in all his glory!

He loves a carry on and is always getting into mischief
so when his Dad sent me the photo of him sneaking into
the jar of Nutella I just had to use it!
The clown face just says it all and works perfectly
with the title as he is a real wee entertainer.
I followed the sketch over at Sketches in Thyme

My second layout shows Tom having fun on his holidays.
Typical Ireland weather which leaves them all
wearing their wellie boots, including Mum.

I followed a layout from Scrap our stash
and you had to use ink or paint along with stripes.
I inked up some stripes on my circles to cover both.
