Nature's Beauty - all creatures great and small

Our July challenge at
is up and running and the theme is
All Creatures Great and Small!
We are sponsored by

For the challenge I have made my first Christmas card of the year!

I love the Nature's Beauty stamp set which has 3 animals
and a variety of trees, twigs, grass and even snow stamps in there.

I stamped the deer first, masked him off, then build my scene around him.
The bushes in front of him were stamped in versamark
I finished the card with a sentiment from Winter Woods

I hope you get time to joins in and be sure and check
out the inspiration from the very talented design team HERE

Funfold Friday - dressed to impress

For my VIP Funfold Friday card
I have made a double easel.
Another new one for me. I have made easel cards before
but never one with a double front.
Isn't it great to challenge your brain though!

I love the combination of magenta madness and misty moonlight
on this card. It works so well together
to give that funky denim and pink look.
The stamp set is Dressed to Impress which is perfect
for girlie cards.

Still noisy and still wet here unfortunately!
A day of housework and crafting!

Scrapbook Thursday

It's Tom's June page and the photo I have
is of him doing his home school work.
Again I have used retired papers and followed the layout over at

I found an old box of stamps from QVC (so long ago)
and one set was for school so I used that to fill in the white background.
I also found an old paper pack from Paper Pazzazz
and used the word plates and alphabets from that.

Well we made it to Omeath but arrived just in time for
a right down pour. We sat in car for a while then headed
back home. Will have to try another day!

Pretty Scrap Paper Caddy

My tutorial today shows how I made
these cute desk tidies for my scrap paper.
I had gathered up a lot of white paper scraps which lay around
the place so decided to tidy them up!
I do use a lot of scrap paper for scribbling my measurements on
so it was nice to get it sorted and it will be easy to add to.

You can watch my video here

Measurements needed to follow along

Score short side - 1" both sides

We are off out for a drive to Omeath today.
Weather is dull but mild so perfect for a nice long walk.
Fingers crossed it will be quiet as we are leaving early.
