Shelf shape Christmas card

I came across this shape via google and wanted to have a go at making it.
So I searched the link but no information other than a photo of the card was available.
Edited: think this is the blog it originated from My Stamp Vault
Naturally I decided to go with my own measurements!

I have named it a Shelf Shaped card simply because of the little shelves it creates
to allow you to fold it flat for posting.

The measurements I have used are:
Red card - 4" x 12"
Score 12" side - 6", 7 1/2", 10", 11 1/2"
Red card - 3" x 6"
Score 6" side - 1/2", 2"

I will do a video showing how to put it together next Tuesday.

I would like to enter this into:

I have made two of these to those exact measurements, & scored well, neither will stand up! total disappointment

Have you tried adjusting the measurements? Maybe your embellishments are too heavy? Did you try my other measurements added an extra fold? I would love to help but have no way of reaching you unfortunately.
