Sketch 7 - thank you card

Happy Monday!

I am sharing the card I made using sketch 7 from

Kendra's Card Challenge.

I have gone with the same colours - Just Jade card and ink.

The sentiment is from Flowers of Friendship stamp set

and the large butterfly was diecut from the

Butterfly bijou papers.

I punched the sentiment using the

Oval Occasions punch.

I would like to enter this into

Sketch 6 - flowers of friendship

Today I have followed sketch 6 in

Kendra's card challenge.

I have added some calypso coral card.

The sentiment block has been cut using the

Stitched Rectangle dies.

Ribbon is a retired one and the flowers

and leaves where stamped using

Flowers of Friendship Bundle

in calypso coral and soft succulent ink pads.

I then coloured using calypso coral and

daffodil delight blends.

I have finished them off with a yellow jewel.

I had a lovely day for my Birthday yesterday

and got to see all my Grandsons!!

We went for a drive to Omeath at tea time,

unfortunately it did rain but we enjoyed our picnic

in the car with the best views ever!!

ATC 5

As I had the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set on my desk

I decided to use it for my ATC this week.

I stamped the lolly pops using

Blackberry Bliss and Lemon Lime Twist ink pads.

I wouldn't mind a lolly with those flavours!!

The sticks were stamped using crumb cake.

I inked up the background using pale Papaya ink

then stamped rows of dots using

blackberry bliss, pale papaya and lemon lime twist inks.

I inked off the edges in black and stamped

the sentiment in memento.

I added a touch of wink of stella for some sparkle.

It's my birthday today, the sun is shining and

later today myself and Hubby are heading to

Carlingford to have our tea (we'll bring a picnic and flask)

by the sea!

Ice Cream Corner Gift Box

No tutorial today but I did make this box for an up coming birthday.

I have used petal pink card for the main box,

decorating it with papers from the Ice Cream Corner pack.

The sentiment is from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set

and has been stamped in Terracotta Tile.

The lolly pops where cut from the same

designer paper.

I punched a small star from the paper too.

Would be perfect to fill with those little ice cream cone

jelly sweets 😋

Berry Blessings at Tag Tuesday

Our challenge theme over at

TAG TUESDAY

is fruit and/or veg.

I have used Berry Blessings stamp set again

for this one. I went with a sideways tag for a change.

I had it all stamped, sentiment and all,

when I decided to watercolour the background!

Somebody stop me lol!!

It was then mounted onto some Berry Delight papers.

I used garden green, granny apple green and

pacific point inks.

Sketch 5 Healing Hugs

Happy Monday!

I am here with Sketch 5 from Kendra's Card Challenge.

Using the butterfly bijou papers for my layout

I have added a stamped panel using Healing Hugs

stamp set and Just Jade ink.

The ribbon is also Just Jade.

I have finished with  punched circles and sentiment

and a die cut butterfly from Brilliant Wings dies.

So we headed off to the beach this morning

as our travel restrictions were lifted.

This was our first time down to Omeath in

over a year and we sorely missed it.

A brisk walk along the sea front for an hour

and home again!

My card today has used sketch 4 from

Kendra's Card Sketch Challenge.

For this one I have gone with

Country Florals embossing folder for the background

in daffodil delight card and

Dressed to Impress stamp set for everything else.

The flowers have been coloured with daffodil delight

and the lipsticks have been coloured with

black, smoky grey and calypso coral blends.

The designer papers are the same as all these sketches,

taken from Butterfly Bijou paper pack.

Berry Blessings ATC

As I had my Berry Blessings stamp set out

I decided to make an ATC for my collection.

I have used garden green, granny apple green and pacific point inks.

I would like to enter this into

My husband and myself spent the afternoon

clearing out a water drain after the last deluge of rain at the weekend,

which washed a load of  mud and debris down the drain.

It took us hours and today the rain and wind

is undoing all our hard work!

The air will be blue tomorrow 😐😈😂

 

 

Free as a Bird

Decided to cut them back to once a fortnight for a while.

I do have another card using

Kendra's Card Sketch challenge 2.

This time I followed sketch number 3

and I have used free as a bird for this one.

It has been coloured using

daffodil delight, soft suede, crumb cake and calypso coral blends.

The back card mat is Just Jade which I embossed

using my score board,

and the sentiment is stamped using Just Jade ink.

It's time for a new challenge at

TAG TUESDAY

and it's my turn to choose the theme.

If you haven't guessed from my tag it's

FRUIT and/or VEG!

I had this stamp I earned during Sale-a-bration

that had yet to be inked so my theme was born!

I used Berry Delight papers for the background.

The berries have been stamped in real red and granny apple green ink,

cut out and layered together in the basket I made from some food packaging!

I added a sentiment and a little bow from bakers twine.

I combined two bakers twine colours for the top.

My second project today is for the mid way inspiration for

Stamping Sensations

where the theme is beautiful blooms.

For my card I have gone with

Daisy Lane stamp set in polished pink colours.

I stamped six small daisies and two large,

which I then layered up and finished with a gold gem.

The leaves have been stamped in soft succulent ink

using the Forever Fern stamp set and die cut with matching dies.

I used Basic Border dies to cut away the card front

and replaced it with some polished pink card

which I embossed on my score board.

The sentiment was stamped in polished pink and punched out

using the Oval Occasions bundle.

I added some gold trim from the Simply Elegant pack.

Kendra's Card Challenge - sketch 2

Happy Monday!

Today I am sharing the card I made using sketch 2

from Kendra's Card Challenge.

For this one you have just two stripes of paper

from the pre cut section.

 I embossed the background using

Bricks and Mortar embossing folder.

The butterfly is cut in basic white using the

Brilliant Wings Dies.

The sentiment is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink

from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set.

We had a wild weekend weather wise but

we did put up the gazebo for our friends arriving!

My cards today were inspired by a lady on Pinterest

called Paula Dobson.

I thought it was such a fun look and had

saved it to try months ago.

Finally had a go and made a wee video

for my VIP Group.

I have used a variety of circle punches

and the inks used are from the new

In-Colour selection.

The sentiment is from Flowers of Friendship bundle,

stamped in memento.

I used a black fine liner pen to add faux stitching

to the circles.

Quick and easy but bright and cheerful!

ATC 3 - beauty of friendship

I have another ATC for my little box

I made yesterday.

This one uses another new stamp set

Beauty of Friendship

and I decided to have a go at the

Dot Colouring Technique

or Pointillism as my daughter pointed out to me!

This is my first attempt and it was a real learning curve

as I wouldn't do it like this again 😂

but I do like the rainbow of colour lol.

I used granny apple green, daffodil delight,

flirty flamingo, balmy blue and highland heather blends.

Do the impossible at Tag Tuesday

Our theme over at

TAG TUESDAY

was chosen by Sandie and she wants to see

sports!

I used papers from the in-colour paper pack,

ripping sections to fit my tag,

then layered them on top of each other.

I stamped the image from Do The Impossible

stamp set, coloured her with blends

and added her with dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in memento

and chopped up into sections and added

to my tag.

It was finished with a stapled on ribbon

in matching bumblebee.

Daisy Lane time to shine

 

Happy Monday!

Over the weekend I came across a challenge called

Kendra's Card Challenge.

Kendra gives you a pdf download showing 6" x 6" paper cuts and 15 sketches to use along with them. You only need 6 sheets of paper to make all 15 cards with the addition of card and embellishments.

It's such a great idea I had to give it a go.

This is the first card out of 15.

I have used Butterfly Bijou papers for my cuts.

This one has been tied in with Bermuda bay card and ink.

I cut an extra butterfly from the papers and then stamped some daisies from the Daisy Lane stamp set to embellish the other square. They were coloured in used Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick blends to tie it in with the pinks of the other square.

I stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink and finished with a crinkled seam binding bow.

has passed away.

Flowers of Friendship sympathy card

 

Yet another Sympathy card I'm afraid.

Another customer order.

The stamp set bundle used is called

Flowers of Friendship.

I have used fresh freshia ink, card and papers for this one.

The sentiments have been stamped and cut out

using the rectangle dies.

I stamped and punched lots of flowers,

coloured them with wink of stella and fresh freshia ink,

layered them up and finished with a little matching jewel.

The leaves were stamped in soft succulent ink,

punched and added to the flowers.

The sentiment is from a retired stamp set called

Flourishing Phrases.

The bow is from my stash.

ATC 2 - elegantly said

My second ATC uses the

Elegantly Said stamp set.

I am really enjoying this stamp set.

I inked up the card using bumblebee ink pad.

I then stamped using the large corner stamp

in memento, but not the whole stamp.

Just a bit on top and bottom.

I stamped the sentiment onto separate card.

Cut it at an angle and inked up the edges.

I am making a little pocket holder to keep these in

as I just haven't time to do swaps at the minute.

Hopefully have a video next week showing how to make it.

My Time to Craft - sentimental

So last night, just as we were heading to bed,

the electric and internet servers went down.

Total blackness everywhere lol.

It was great fun getting ready for bed and sorting the dog out!

It was off for about an hour and a half

which wasn't too bad really but very unusual

for everything to go down.

The end of the world is nigh!!! 😂
