I finally had some time to make these little angels
which I have had on my to do list for a couple of years!!
For the beads I bought a 99p beaded ornament from
Home Bargains and took it apart.
The beads were the perfect size for the face.
I gathered up whatever material scraps I had in my drawer.
I used tulle and some gold netting.
I tied her waist with red ribbon and her arms
were made from some heavy twine.
Her hair is made with threads in brown and I cut
her wings from some white foam.
I did have to draw her face on but it didn't come
out too bad lol and I gave her a little halo
made from pearls.
You can see I plaited her hair at the back to keep it tidy.
Of course when I showed it to my daughter she wanted one.
As her hair is black and white (we call her Cruella De Vil 😂)
I had to give the angel the same hair.
This time I used wool.
They do look so sweet on my tree and I am so tempted to make more!!
I would like to enter these into

These are delightful Pinky, have made many little angels over the years, usually with children- but none turned out as cute as these- love their plaits, always good to see an angel with nice tidy hair :)
Cruella made me smile- memories of the angel my son made at primary school- we called her Fang!!! She graced our Christmas tree for many years until she finally disintegrated!
xx
