My only living Aunt's birthday is coming up next month
and I like to make her a special card so I went with a
Flower Box card.
The tulips and leaves have all be stamped and fussy cut
and the stems were cut from green card.
I stamped and coloured a little butterfly
and added ribbon, gems and a circle sentiment.
It folds flat for posting and fits into an 8" x 8" envelope.
I even had room for a nice verse on the back.
I used Flower Box Card dies from Cardmaking Magic,
Timeless Tulips stamp set (SU),
Highland Heather, Garden Green, Sweet Sorbet and Bubble Bath inks (SU),
Garden Green and lilac card from my stash, organza ribbon
and gems and the papers are called
Delightfully Eclectic (SU).
I would like to enter this into
We are sitting in the eye of the storm at the minute.
The lights are flickering so expecting the electric to go soon.
So far we have lost some cladding from the side of the house
and the chimney is struggling.
My son has a tree down, my other son has fence down
and their neighbour's roof has started to come down!
So scary and dangerous. I hope everyone is keeping
indoors and away from falling debris!

I hope you are all safe, its pretty bad, my fence out back is down, even the post has gone, a few things rolling round the garden, but fingers crossed we will all survive, my SIL is supposed to be flying back from Germany today, heaven only knows if that will happen...Stay safe. xxx

Absolutely gorgeous card, a wonderful box of beautiful tulips, definitely a very special card for your Auntie.
I was thinking about you and hoping that you were safe from the storm, sorry to hear that it's so bad, must be very frightening. I hope there's no further damage for you and your family- just all stay safe indoors until it's over.
