This year I decided to get a smaller tree
and I gave my bigger tree to my daughter.
So as she hadn't many decorations for it I
decided to make her some angels.
I used an old dictionary that belonged to my late Mum
which I thought would make them special for her.
I punched the bottom of her dress,
added ribbon to the top of her dress
and her head is a wooden bead with a
pipe cleaner for her halo.
She has some waxed thread fed through the
bead so she can hang from the tree.
I left her face blank so my daughter,
who is an artist by trade, could add her
own facial features.
I made as many as I could in a small space of time
and packaged them up with tissue and a pretty box.
She was very pleased with them.

You know what Pinky, I love things like this, they will hold so many memories for your daughter, money can't buy things like these, they are so pretty too. I have seen alot about this year but I think these are the sweetest.
Have a merry Christmas my friend. xx
Goodness this takes me back Pinky, when the children were young we used to make these at home and with the children at Thursday Church (children could opt out of first lesson to attend) for the Church tree.
We used to use ping pong balls for the heads and the children decorated the faces - that was fun and some raised more than the odd eyebrow at the Christingle service!
Happy Christmas.
