I have been missing in action for what seems like ages
but I have been sick as a parrot.
First I got a V & D virus.
That floored me for a couple of days.
Then I got a head cold immediately after
and it has since become a sinus infection.
I am worn out completely.
Finally got an antibiotic yesterday
and don't start me on the hurdles
I had to jump to get speaking to
a doctor. Seriously!!
But hopefully I will be on the mend
by Monday and play a bit of catch up.
It's time for my midway post for our
Spring Flowers/anything goes at
For my tag I punched out a plain piece of card
with my Best Trio Punch (SU) and rounded
the bottom corners too.
I then inked the background in blue ink.
Next I used an old SU stencil to add some
crystal paste to two corners.
I then stamped the other two corners using
a stamp set from Visible Image called
Grunge Tones in yellow.
I stamped, coloured and die cut the flowers
and teapot using a set called Country Flowers (SU).
Before sticking in place I stamped the small
flowers in black.
I finished with a ribbon.
I would like to enter this into
**************************************
For my ATC I used two stamp sets called
Timeless Tulips and Fable Friends.
I created the background by mixing inks
from IndigoBlu and Distress inks.
I brushed some gold ink around the edges
and then stamped, coloured and cut the tulips
using markers.
I stuck them in place then splattered some
white ink over the top.
I stamped and cut the sentiment
and placed over the flowers.
I hope you get time to join us and be sure
to pop over the blog to check out
Lynn and Brenda's beautiful makes.
This lovely prize is up for grabs!!

Two pretty floral reminders at mid-month for the Tag-along challenge . Sorry to hear you've been feeling ill and don't get me started on the number of hoops we have to jump through to contact local surgeries and GP's - it's virtually impossible and made even worse when you are feeling absolutely rotten 🙄🙄. Hope you pick up very soon.
What a lovely burst of spring energy after such a rough stretch for you. The soft blue inking sets such a calm foundation, and the mix of crystal paste and yellow grunge stamping gives the corners so much life and texture. The teapot and flowers look beautifully colored and placed, and those tiny black blossoms tucked behind them add just the right touch of depth. The rounded tag shape and ribbon finish everything with a gentle, polished feel. A bright, cheerful make that feels like a little dose of recovery all on its own.
I appreciate your visit to my blog and the kind words you shared. I hope you will stop by again soon.
I love this ATC, beautiful Pinky it really is.
Sorry you have been ill, nothing worse and as for the doctors now forget it, its a nightmare and will only get worse. At least you now have some meds, fingers crossed you will start to feel better soon my friend, take care. xx
