I haven't done a box tutorial for a while and
as I needed two for upcoming birthdays
I decided to give this one a go.
I found a tutorial for a square box with the
letter on the front on YouTube by a lady called
I didn't want a square box though so I adjusted
the sizes to suit what I wanted.
These will hold money.

Measurements needed
Base card
5 1/2" x 6 1/2"
Score short side - 1/2", 1 1/2", 4", 5"
Score long side - 1/2", 1 1/2", 5", 6"
Top Card/Paper
5 1/16" x 6 1/16"
Score all four sides - 1/2", 1 1/4"
Acetate - 2 3/8" x 3 3/8"
Large letter die
For my boxes I have used
papers from
Anna Marie Designs and Craftworks Cards
Dies from SU,
Embossed acetate from stash,
white card, flowers from Craftworks Cards,
Geared Up Garage stamps and dies (SU).
