Our July challenge over at
has started and we have a
summer/anything goes theme.
As always we have a lovely prize on offer
so I hope you get time to play along
with us.
For my card I went with a sea theme.
I layered onto a blue card base with some
yellow card.
I then stamped the stripes using a
stamp set called Little Elephant using
an ombre ink pad from Let's Colour.
I ripped the edges of my card
and stamped a sentiment in the corner
using a stamp set called Circle Sayings.
I added some white netting around
the centre then stuck to my yellow
base card.
Next I used the Circle Sayings stamp set
to create my circle, coloured it up with
markers and punched a circle in blue
and yellow to layered it up.
I finished with some yellow gems.

You've certainly got summertime vibes here Pinky and really effective design with the circle and turn edges giving a feel of the waves.

Definite summer vibes here Pinky- love the focal stamp and the background stripes with the torn edges, the netting adds interest and texture, the blue/yellow combo is perfect for summer.
