Night in Bethlehem Christmas card

My card today is for a special lady and we always exchange Christmas cards every year.
She is a very religious person so I like to go down that route for her card.

This one uses a retired set called
Night in Bethlehem.
Definitely a set I will hold onto forever.
I used night of navy, daffodil delight and soft suede inks
I water coloured the yellow areas for a washed out effect
and finished with some stars and sparkle.

My Tuesday Tutorial shows how to make these
cute little pencil gift packs.
These are going into my Grandsons stockings along with
a few other wee treats.
The pencils come in packs of 10, 5 of each design in Poundland.
I believe the DSP is now sold out but it would work beautifully
with the Let it Snow dsp too.

You can watch the video here

From our house to yours!

Happy Monday!
I am concentrating on finishing off my Christmas cards this week.
Have most posted and away so just a few for special family members now.

This one is an idea I saw over on Pinterest.
I used From Our House to Yours to create the scene.
A large circle die made the hill and the snowy background
was made using a piece of the Let it Snow dsp.

Stamping Sensations December Challenge

Time for our December challenge over at

The theme this month is
ANYTHING GOES
just remember to stamp, stamp, stamp!!

We are sponsored by

For my project this month I went with a card and matching gift.
I made a card like this before but used reds the last time
and wanted to see if it would work with coastal cabana!
I like it!
The ribbon is a bit shabby. It's from my very old ribbon stash.
I stamped the panels using the Tiny Keepsakes Bundle
which also cuts the cute mini curvy keepsake box.
The box was stamped in the same colour and finished with a little snowflake
and gem.
Perfect for adding some tiny treats or even money.

Hope you get time to join this month.
We will all probably be chasing our tales so be sure and take
some time out for stamping!!
