Pop of Petals chocolate treat

This was another one of my catalogue gifts.
It contains a chocolate treat and uses lovely bright yellow.
Love these cheerful colours.
It was quick and simple to make and I used pretty dsp from the In Colours selection.
The flower was made using pop of petals punch, some left over ribbon
and a silver gem in the centre.
It was a stamp free zone today lol.

Cogs and Gears Journal page

Today my journal page is all about getting ready for travel.
We have two exciting happenings for the end of May and beginning of June.
It all involves lots of travel arrangements, getting away and coming home!
Myself and hubby are just back from a lovely week's break in Rhodes
and on Saturday we will have 4 extra family members
living with us for a while! Exciting times!!

So I got out my geared up garage bundle, lots of inks, a stencil, some gesso
and went to town.
I wanted it to look messy but colourful and I think I have achieved it lol.
The cogs represent all the hard work and co-ordination needed to get
everyone where they need to be when they need to be there!
I'm happy with it and I will know exactly what it meant to me
when I look back at it in a few months time.

Hopefully blogging will be back to normal after a good night's sleep.

Free as a bird....

It's time for some midway inspiration for our May challenge over at
If you haven't entered yet you still have two weeks to get in there.
The theme of the challenge this month is
IN AN ENGLISH COUNTRY GARDEN!

There is of course a lovely prize up for grabs so be sure to check it out.

I am giving you a sneak peak of a stamp set coming in the new catalogue in June!
I think this is going to be a favourite for a lot of people.
It is such a beautiful stamp set with birds, flowers and sentiments.
It will certainly be used at Christmas time too
but today I have made a card for a special friend.
Isn't the sentiment lovely?

I will have a PDF tutorial for this card available to all my Newsletter subscribers!
