Snowman scene

I treated myself to some Polkadoodles stamps, dies and stencils recently
and they just arrived so had a quick play.
I made this one completely flat but will definitely
play around more next time. Just needed to get
a feel for them first.

I started by stencilling the background using the snowfall stencil
in balmy blue ink.
I then stamped the snowman, coloured him up with markers
and wink of stella and left him to one side.

Next I stamped some trees in the background using
an old stamp set from SU called Evergreen Elegance.
I then tore some paper for snowy edges and stuck in place.
The snowman was then stuck down along with his
santa hat. The stamp set has a nice variety of items to
change up the snowman and this is one big snowman!!

I finished with lots of more wink of stella which does not
show up in the photo at all, along with a sentiment.

I would like to enter this into

It's a dull as ditch water here today but very close.
Had a good walk this morning and a bit of housework
and now I need a coffee!!
