Snow deer tag!

I went all messy today with my Christmas tag.
This is a first for me....painting onto a window sheet to make a tag!
I saw someone had made something like this on Pinterest a long time ago,
but it stuck in my head and I let it loose today!!

I cut the window sheet 2" x 4 1/2" and used my scallop tag topper punch to shape the top.
I then mixed some Gesso with some garden green ink
and painted a tree on the back of the window sheet.
I added gesso around all the edges and then using a stiff paintbrush
and some shimmer paint I flipped it so it would splatter like snow onto
the front of the tag.
I stamped the reindeer from Dashing Deer stamp set
using versamark onto red card and heat embossed using white embossing powder.
I cut him out and added dimensionals and adhered him to the base of the tag.
I added more gesso to cover the dimensionals at the back.
When dry I added a whisper white spotty bow.

Elf fun at the North Pole!

I have this cute little Christmas card to share with you today.
I decided to create a fun scene for these lovely little elves from
Signs of Santa bundle.

First I cut myself a piece of whisper white to fit my square card.
Using Balmy Blue ink I created a watercolour sky.
I tore some white paper to look like mounds of snow
and layered onto the white card.
I stamped two each of the little elves and cut using the matching dies.
They were coloured with Stampin' Blends.
I also stamped and cut the North Pole sign and the little cart and presents.
Then came the fun part...popping them here and there to make a fun scene.

The snow mounds have been touched up with my Shimmer paint and water.
The elves have been given a splattering of wink of stella
and I used a silver gel pen to add some stars to the sky.
The sentiment is from Dashing Deer stamp set,
stamped in real red ink and mounted onto real red card.
