Winter Trees...Sympathy card

I sadly needed a sympathy card and I always say I will make a bunch to have on hand
but aren't they so hard to make!
I end up just making them when I need them.

I got a new stamp bundle called
This is a different type of stamping than what I usually do but I really really
wanted to have a go as there is so much inspiration from very talented ladies out there.

I took my inspiration for this one from the lovely Paula Dobson!

I followed my design through to the inside too, just like Paula did.

For my card I started with an Old Olive card base.
I layered up a piece of Under the Mistletoe then stamped the trees
onto Whisper White card stock using old olive ink.
I double stamped to get the faded trees in the background.
I am truly in love with this stamp set and you will see a few more using it this week.
I haven't even delved into the dies yet!!
I finished it off by wrapping a piece of Festive Farmhouse Cotton twine.

I hope you like it!

I would like to enter this card into:

I wanted to share something I think is SIMPLY wonderful when you are stamping!
It's the
SIMPLY SHAMMY

I use this every single day when stamping! It's a life saver.
Simply had it sitting damp in a spare stamp box and rub your stamps on it to get them clean
in an instant.
It does stain but it rinses clean, dries out over night and you simply dampen again
ready for use the next day! I LOVE IT!
