Scraps make quilts!

This is week two of our challenge theme
HABERDASHERY
over at

For my tag I cut up small stitched squares in different
varieties of paper from the Brights Bundle
to form a quilt type background.
My Grandmother was a dressmaker many years ago
and always had scraps of material left over from each customer.
She put them to good use making her Grandkids cute little dresses
and even then the scraps left from that were turned into quilts.
My sister still has one of the original quilts!
It must be at least 50 years old.
So that was the inspiration behind my tag today.

I would like to enter this into

Hope you get time to join our fun challenge!

Oh that's clever Pinky, what a great take on the theme!
A friend of mine makes the most beautiful quilts, I can see them being treasured heirlooms in the future.
