Busy, busy, busy!

I put together some treats for my Grandsons for
St. Patrick's Day.
They each got a bottle of apple juice,
bar of chocolate and pack of sweets.
I used the lovely pack called
Gnomes patrick from Nitwits.

I am still very busy here, hence not posting a lot.
My daughter got her house keys so we are slowly shifting
her stuff up there.
As usual, no family about to help lol.
Two of my boys are working late each day,
one has his family away to Lego Land for the school break
and my daughter-in-law has covid!
So you can imagine!

I did finish the wedding invites and table settings.
This is a terrible photo but it shows the
cutlery wraps and some table favours.
Will try get a descent photo of the invites soon
but they are in the same colours as the dice box above
and come in a vellum envelope with a wax bee seal.

Hopefully things will be back to normal by the 12th of April.
Thanks so much to everyone who leaves me comments,
it's lovely to read them and they keep me going!

Spring Tag

It's the second week of Michele's challenge theme

I have used Basket of Blooms,

Fable Friends and Love you to Pieces stamp sets.

They have been coloured up using blends

and the ink pads used  are polished pink, bumblebee,

old olive and granny apple green.

I added some designer paper to the base

and finished with a bit of old olive and gold ribbon.

And it folds flat!

It's time for our March challenge over at

STAMPING SENSATIONS

and this month the theme is

Stamp Something For Spring!

We have a lovely prize up for grabs so come and join us.

For my card today I have used a lovely new die set from
Card Making Magic called Flower Box & Card.
I have cut the base out using Soft Seafoam card,
layering it up with white and blushing bride card and some paper
from sunshine and rainbows paper pack (SU).
I then stamped the tulips, stems and leaves from
Timeless Tulips stamp set using soft seafoam,
fresh freesia, pale papaya, rococo rose and old olive ink pads.
Each piece has been cut and added to the card.
I die cut some butterflies from the Brilliant Wings dies (SU).
The sentiment is from Dressed to Impress stamp set (SU).
I made a little bunch of tulips to embellish the front
and added a little felt bow. Some wink of stella has been added
here and there for sparkle.

A perfect card for my Mother-in-law.

I hope you get time to come and join us and who
wouldn't want to win that fabulous prize!!

Can you believe it's the 1st of March already!
We have so much happening in April and May
this year that preparations are well under way.
My daughter's Civil Partnership is on 7th April,
two Grandsons celebrating birthdays mid April,
my son will be 40 on the 21st April.
My eldest Grandson is being confirmed on Easter Saturday
along with my youngest Grandson being Christened.
Then in May my daughter in law turns 40
and my Grandson Sean makes his Holy Communion!
So lots of crafting to do.
Wedding invites are nearly finished (very small ceremony).
My list of cards is forever growing lol but
it will be so lovely to have all these celebrations and joy
in the midst of what's happening around the world!

Driving By!

I had a go at the book binding fold when I saw

the challenge theme over at the Butterfly Challenge.

Unfortunately I didn't need a butterfly on my card

but I was definitely inspired by Valery's challenge.

You can see the close up of the little penny slider car,

showing the hidden sentiment.

This card was made for someone who had to resit their test

after a long break due to illness.

I have used Driving By stamp set, (available free with a spend

during Sale-a-bration until end of February)

 Garage Gears dies,

Geared Up Garage stamp set, black braid, Through it together stamp set,

black card and papers from Sunshine & Rainbows.

(another sale-a-bration freebie)

Inks used - coastal cabana and memento.

All from Stampin' Up!

Hello Ladybug Card

Front view

inside view

I made this card for a good friend of mine.
This stamp set and matching punch
Hello Ladybug
is just so sweet to play with.

I have punched the lady bugs on the front,
stamped the dots onto the wings and added two eyes.
The sentiment is from the same set and inside
I stamped another ladybug in black and poppy red and
added another sentiment.
The papers are from a very old set which have been
matted onto black card.

I also made a mini curvy keepsakes box to match
for some sweets.
I cut it out in white card and stamped the
little ladybug on each section and the leaf
on the top of each section.

Bingo/Numbers at Tag Tuesday

It's my turn this fortnight to choose the theme over at
and as my date starts on 22/2/22  (cool),
I thought I would go with
Bingo or numbers!

For this week's tag I have used some
number papers from Nitwits, bingo cards from
Crafts 4 Eternity. Everything else has been
printed off, inked up and mounted on the tag.
I thought using the bingo slang for numbers
would be interesting even though I have never
been to a bingo hall in my life!

Come and joins us!!

I followed the design inside too.
The card is balmy blue and the papers are petal pink.
The dragonfly has been coloured using the
balmy blue ink pad and my wink of stella pen.

King of hearts

Time for another tag for Sandie's challenge at
where she wants to see Kings or Queens or both.

I have gone with another image from my free Alice in Wonderland
pack. The king has been printed off, then coloured
and the same frame printed again and laid over the top.
I stamped some hearts around the frame using
Meant to Be stamp set and the quote has
been added via the computer.

Pop Out Card

Sorry for the blurred photo, card is gone now so can't retake!

My final fun fold card for my customer was this one.
It's called a Pop Out Card
and it fold flat to fit a tall card size envelope.

I have used Nitwits papers and embellishments
to decorate.

This one was fun to make but again I had to make up my own
measurements to get it to this size.

A few people have asked if I am still doing Stampin' Up!
and the answer is I'm still officially a demonstrator
but I have cut back on all the crafting for it.
I felt a bit burned out and needed a break.
I have been with them for 4 years, and all along,
I was still doing personalised cards for my local customers.
It has taken it's toll so I decided to have a little break.
Stampin' Up! I can put to one side,
local customers orders I can't, so that's what I'm concentrating on.
My shop front has gone so if you want to order anything
through me you need to go directly to Stampin' Up! Uk site
and choose Pinky O'Hagan as your Demonstrator.

Kings and Queens!

Our new challenge theme over at
has been chosen by our lovely Sandie
and she has gone with
Kings/Queens fact or fictional!

So I found this digi stamp online and it set the base
for my tag.
The papers are a free download I have had for years
and I just played about with the tree, added the quote,
coloured the image and hey presto!

I hope you get time to join in Sandie's challenge this fortnight!

Anything goes for February!

Our February challenge has begun over at

STAMPING SENSATIONS

and the theme is

Anything Stamped goes with the option of wings!

We have a lovely prize up for grabs

For my card I have used Dragonfly Garden and punch set
along with one of the stencils from the
Basic Pattern Decorative masks (all Stampin' Up!).

I masked off my area and stencilled in balmy blue ink.
I then stamped my flowers in evening evergreen ink
and added some colour using my blends
(daffodil delight, granny apple green and flirty flamingo).
I stamped the dragonfly in evening evergreen ink,
punched it out and coloured it up using balmy blue ink
and my wink of stella clear pen.
After curling the leaves, I stuck to my card base and
finished by stamping the sentiment in evening evergreen ink.
The sentiment is so crooked lol but I have since fixed it!!

Balcony Card

This is one of my 5 shaped cards I made for a customer.
It's called a Balcony Card.
I came across a smaller version on YouTube so set about
scaling it up to suit a tall card size.

It's an easy enough card base to make,
it's the decorating of it that takes up the time lol.
I did need to pop it into an 8"x 8" envelope when folded flat.

The papers I have used are from Nitwits called
Lovin Life!
It's a gorgeous set with lovely spring colours
and great sentiments.
I used Flourishing Fern dies and Brilliant Wings dies
from Stampin' Up!
to add to the decoration.

I think we are to expect sleet/snow tomorrow!
Fingers crossed it ain't true😎

Steampunk at Tag Tuesday

Wow can you believe it's February already?
I have never had a quicker January than this one!!

It's the second week of Valerie's theme
STEAMPUNK
over at Tag Tuesday.

This week I used some steampunk backing papers,
inked up with distress inks. I added the pocket watch
which was fussy cut and layered and finished with silver pen.
I added some eyelets for the bakers twine and added
some die cut cogs and eyelets from my Elizabeth Craft Designs journal cuts
to finish it off.
The cogs have been coloured using silver metallic rub ons.
