Nature's Beauty - Fox card

I am starting my week with a card made using autumn colours.

The lovely fox is from the stamp set called

Nature's Beauty

and for each stamp set sold Stampin' up! are donating £2.50 to

Mental Health Charities.

I haven't added a sentiment to this one, but will when I decide what to use it for.

I am doing a weekly colour combination idea on my VIP Group

and this is the first week.

I have used soft suede, pumpkin pie and old olive

which I think work nicely together.

Bird Ballad Bridge Fold Card

The Bridge Fold has been around a while but I was never sure if I liked it.

One of my customers asked me to do one so here it is.

And YES I do now like it!!

It is really easy to do and lovely to decorate.

I used the lovely Bird Ballad dsp along with petal pink card stock.

The dsp really does all the work as it is so pretty.

I did stamp and colour the bird and leaves along with the sentiment.

Art Journal Page 11 - New Wonders!

Art Journal page 11!
Can't believe I have stuck at this very enjoyable project!
My page today started off pretty random. I decided to
cover my page in gesso and then made myself a punched
1" circle stencil and proceeded to ink up the page.
I made a 1/2" circle template and did some using the same ink.
Then I just swished the sponge to create the block of ink underneath.
Now what!! Wasn't sure what way to go but thought it needed
some depth so out came the twinkle twinkle dsp and more punched circles.
Of course that led to the nursery rhyme and that led to the little fairy image.
And so my page was finished!!

New Wonders gift tag

I pulled out one of my Host Sets

(available to you when you either host a party or spend a certain amount in my shop)

This one is called New Wonders and features the cutest

little fairy and some lovely sentiments too.

I love the depth the stamp gives, it really looks like a curled page!

Perfect tag to use on a gift for a child going back to school.
