You melt my heart

This is another Valentine's Day card
for my two Grandsons next door.

It's only a little card - 4" x 3 1/2"
Had to be careful with my colours
as the eldest boy would not be entertaining
red and too many hearts 😂

I thought the sentiment from the
stamp set was just perfect for Valentine's Day.
I stamped the lolly out using
The strip of paper is from the
I took the heart stamp from

along with the sentiment too
all stamped in blackberry bliss.

Snow hasn't hit us yet but is supposed to
be here by tomorrow.
It is icy cold out there and the winds
are building up!
Think we will stay put and maybe
go out to the garage for some exercise
in hubby's homemade gym 😁
Have a great day!

I was up early enough today to catch
the most beautiful sunrise.
The skies were lit up with reds and oranges!
I know they say red sky in the morning, shepherds warning lol
but it was certainly worth it!

It's not just black and white at Tag Tuesday!

Our new challenge them over at
has been chosen by Valerie-Jael
and she wants us to use
black, white + 1 other colour.

A lovely theme, especially since I have my
gorgeous True Love papers to play with.
This pack is full of black and white designs
including floral designs just crying out for colour.

I used a left over piece for the background and an off cut
of one of the flowers which I coloured in using
I punched highland heather card using the
the sentiment in the same colour ink.
I finished with a bow in matching colours.

I was at the opticians this morning.
Thankfully my eyes are in great health
and I can continue with my glasses or
get a pair slightly stronger.
I only use them for craft and reading so
will have a think about it!!
Right I'm off to work on some commissions.

Oval Occasions Customer Card

Happy Monday!
Today I celebrate being with
Stampin' Up!
for three whole years!
Stampin' Up! was on my bucket list for a while
but when I signed up I didn't intend to stay so long 😂
But I have enjoyed it immensely!

Today I am sharing my second customer card kit,
this time a little baby card.

I have used Oval Occasions bundle again for this one
along with the Oh so Ombre papers
which I ran through with the pinewood planks embossing folder.
The top paper is from Paper Blooms paper pack which is also
free during Sale-a-bration!
The ribbon and bow are from the gorgeous  sparkle ribbon,
and I have added some little pastel pearls.
The image has been coloured using

I have followed the design inside using a
large oval to write or stamp the sentiment.

Colour my world!

Our February challenge over at
has a theme of
Colour mWorld

We are sponsored by

out I decided to play around with all the little stamps.
Having gather loads of different ink pads
I inked up the background then proceeded
to stamp in memento in no particular order.

I finished it off with a Bee Crafty sentiment and bird.
The ribbon matched the card base and punched
circles for the sentiment.

Check out all the teams amazing projects here
and hopefully you will be inspired like I was.

Black and white birthday card, maybe not!

I fully intended to leave this card black and white
but I just did not like it at all.
So I went in search of some inspiration and found
this lovely colour combo challenge at
So here it is all coloured up!

Photo not great as I have just finished it
and it's nearly 5pm.
Which do you prefer?

I have used the lovely Ornate Style stamp set
using my wink of stella to colour with.
The sentiment is from Sweet Ice Cream stamp set.

True Love Card Kit

This is one of the card kits I sent out
to  thank my January customers.

I have used the gorgeous True Love papers pack
which comes with lots of florals you can either
leave black and white or colour in.
The background papers are Oh So Ombre
which were so popular they are now on back order 😒
But thankfully I have enough for all my kits.

The sentiment was made using the Oval Occasions bundle.
They get everything including the envelope
to make this lovely card.
Well all bar the stamping as we are not allowed
to send pre stamped images.

I have used the stitched rectangle dies for the inside
and the stamp set is called Approaching Perfection,
another free option during Sale-a-bration!

Timeless Tulips Gap Card Tutorial

I had a few requests to show how I made the
Gap Card from last week, so I made
a tutorial.
This is a different one, made for my
Sister-in-law who turns 60 this month,
but the exact same concept.

You can watch the video here

This time I have used Timeless Tulips
for the main image.
I used the lovely Curvy Dies to make the gaps
and the papers are Oh So Ombre.
Oval Occasions bundle was used for one sentiment
and Lovely Labels Pick a Punch for the top sentiment.
I used the circle layering dies for the front and insides.

Is it real?

For my tag for
the photo I have used was taken by my daughter
when we were out for a walk.
The size of these toadstools totally amazed me
and just squealed Fairy Land!

So I added two little fairies
using My Craft Studio Elite,
onto the photo and made it into a tag.
The sentiment is from a Crafter's Companion stamp set
and the ribbon is the gorgeous Tri Colour ribbon
from Stampin' Up!

I hope you get time to join us
during our second week
with the theme of use a photo!

Hee Haw Little Valentine

Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a nice weekend.
I think that was the quickest January
I have ever faced!!

My card today is for two of my Grandsons
who live next door, for Valentine's Day.
I will make another one for my other two
Grandsons who live 10mins drive away.

I have used the cute little Darling Donkeys stamp set,
which is free during Sale-a-bration with a £45 spend.
The Oh So Ombre papers are also free!!
The sentiment was made using the Oval Occasions bundle
and I added a little bit of ribbon.
I stamped the Hee Haw using Coastal Cabana ink
to match the base card and the little donkey
was coloured in using Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler blends.
